Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles This is the lock picking lawyer, and today I'm going to disagree with the common wisdom that any lock is better than no lock. What I have for you today is a lot that makes you less secure. This is the master lock model 7131 D key storage cabinet. The purpose of this product is to store, organize and secure all of your keys in one place. And therein lies the problem. If you're going to collect all of your keys in one place, the locks securing it should be as good or better than each of the locks. Associate it with the keys inside. If that's not the case, you've effectively degraded your security. In the case of this master lock product, it's a serious problem because the lock on it requires almost no skill at all to open. Let me show you just how easy it is. You see, that's currently locked. I'm going to put a small tension tool in here, and it's a two sided wafer lock. So I'm going to have to rake on the bottom and the top and just that quickly, we got it open. So as you saw this key box takes almost no time or skill to defeat as such. Putting all of your keys inside and turning this into the linchpin of your security strikes me as a very bad idea. In any case, that's all I have for you today. If you do have any questions or comments about this, please put them below. If you like this video and would like to see more like it, please subscribe. And, as always, have a nice day. Thank you.
