Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles This is the lock picking lawyer, and what I have for you today is a guard security combination padlock with an anti shim feature that I've never seen before. Now, to put this lock in context, I have a very similar one, also from Guard Security. I believe it's actually the newer of the two models, and on this lock a standard pat Lockshin. Well, open it up in just a few moments now. The other padlock was apparently designed to address this issue. If we open it up, we can see there is a tiny little nub sticking out from the side of the shackle, and it's in the perfect location to block a standard padlock shin. And to the credit of the company, it does block a standard padlock shim. Very well. However, it doesn't take an expert to realize that little nub doesn't block all approach vectors to the locking lug. In fact, shaming this is just a Z Z, as it was before. You just need a slightly different tool. Let's do that right now. Just that quickly, we got it open. Let's do that one more time. It's pretty amazing that someone thought that tiny little nub was the solution to Shiming. But I think it's also very clear why it's something we don't see very often. In any case, that's all I have for you today. If you do have any questions or comments about this, please put them below. If you like this video and would like to see more like it, please subscribe. And, as always, have a nice day. Thank you.
