The second Symphony, for me is it's always been one of my favorite pieces, with its brighter tone, a little cheerier, a little more optimistic for Brahms and in this symphony, there's so many amazing moments for the cello section to really come through and playing this piece is always a huge highlight for me.
Some of the highlights of the season when my colleagues have featured as soloists I have so many talented colleagues.
It's always a joy to see them playing and featured.
In this way, this'll season is gonna be particularly special since we have a tuba concerto.
