This was the gun of choice. The ignition system was just icing on the cake. Yeah, the following block was really just an amazing advance because you'd put your bullet in there, you would have a piece of paper that had gunpowder in it. You push it in there, this would cut the back of the paper off. You'd slide up another primer, which was like a cap. It's sent a spark down a whole pull the hammer back. Bam! I mean, it was literally just Bam, bam, bam, bam, bam! That would have been the assault rifle of its day if you collect civil War guns, this is when you have to have You gotta have you got a place around here to shoot these things? Absolutely.
