It turns out there are thousands, maybe tens of thousands of ventilators that could be tapped for life saving use zoo as well as private veterinarians.

Turns out the animal ventilators are human grade.

The actual ventilators that are being donated from veterinary specialists were actually used or older human ventilators to begin with.

So now they're just kind of taking them back into their hospitals, disinfecting cleaning them and getting them prepared for their human patients.
