  • This is the lock picking lawyer, and what I have for you today is the Rocky Mount's warrant bike lock.

  • Now, for those of you who watch regularly, you may recall that I recently featured the Rocky Mountain Hooligan and Carlito bike locks in videos 9 67 and 9 62 respectively.

  • I'll leave links to those videos below, but unfortunately, I found that they could both be picked in about three seconds each.

  • Thankfully, the warrant does not contain the same design vulnerability.

  • This one is actually hard to evaluate because it's covered in a thick layer of silicone, but it does have a fairly beefy, 14 millimeter thick hardened steel shackle.

  • Oddly, Rocky Mount's claims that it is a 16 millimeter shackle, and I'm not sure where they get that number from.

  • As I mentioned, the metal is 14 millimetres thick, and if you count the silicon coating, it's about 18 millimeters at its thinnest point.

  • But let's put that aside and see what it takes to pick into this.

  • The first thing I'm going to do is reach through these spring loaded dust covers and rotate all of the disks as far clockwise as they will go, and then I'm going to get the pick that Bosnian bill and I made and try to pick up disc number one.

  • Okay, I have number one.

  • Let's find too.

  • Okay, two is binding.

  • Here we go.

  • I have to in the gate.

  • Little click out of three.

  • Click on four, click on five.

  • It looks like we got this open.

  • So as you saw, this is not a particularly tough lock to pick a least a ce faras disc.

  • Detainer locks go, but it is miles ahead of some of Rocky Mount's other products.

  • In any case, that's all I have for you today.

  • If you do have any questions or comments about this, please put them below.

  • If you like this video and would like to see more like it, please subscribe.

  • And, as always, have a nice day.

  • Thank you.
