HILLER GOODSPEED: Hey, I'm Hiller.
This is my toolbox.
I've got my pencils.
I love number two.
I love number eight, and my primary colors.
A cassette.
I like alternative music.
I just like the noise.
I like the sound.
Notebooks.
I always have one in my back pocket.
I doodle in my notebooks.
I write down ideas.
The Pixel book.
The pen is really fluid and easy to use.
It's a great tool.
A Bruno Munari book of shapes and colors.
It's a great reminder to keep things simple.
This weird little homemade hat I bought for $0.10.
And all this other inspirational stuff.
Oh, and sharpeners.
I love the smell of a recently sharpened pencil.
I make really fun stuff with these tools.
A lot of my ideas are the result of hours
of thinking and contemplation.
What I really love about the creative process
is the moment of creation.
It's always so nice to exist just
with the idea in a small space and time.
My brain is very messy and chaotic, colorful, kind
of like an attic, and I don't always understand it.
But I enjoy hanging out up there.
Sometimes, I want to work, but the ideas just don't come.
And I just have to be patient.
The moment can happen anytime.
Lately, I've been making some pretty cool stuff,
like these project cards.
39 of them.
And this.
