This is great.

If you have any kind of numerical reasoning or psychometric tests coming up, it's great practice.

Really good for getting the mind working.

Okay, So what is a numerical function test?

Well, this is what it looks like, so you can see across the top there it saves.

A function is represented by the following machine.

So we have the number 10.

There is inputted into the machine on.

Then we have to multiply 10 by 10 to give us 100.

And then we have to work out what happens here to get the aunts and 90 So the question will go.

It says 10 is put into the machine that the left the output of the machine is 90.

We have to work out.

This is what is the missing function represented by the question mark in the second part of the machine secrets.

Now, some of the questions will say the first part, and you won't be given anything there.

But you will there.

So and you are then given a selection of answers, which makes it slightly easier.

So you're given multiple choice.

You've got a minus 10 B minus 12 C multiplied by one d, divided by five or E plus 10.

And trust me as you can.

I'm gonna get you guys to do some of the suit.

As you work through them, they become quite difficult because all you see is a massive numbers.

But you just have to remain calm and follow the sequence to get the answer.

So the correct answer with this one.

So we have to find out what goes there.

The correct answer is minus 10.

So if we did 10 multiplied by 10 that gives us 100 then minus 10.

Gives us the answer 90.

Let's take a look at another one before I get you guys to try out some yourselves.

Okay, again, a function is represented by this following machine.

You've got 88 divided by 11 and then something here gives us the answer.

96.

So 88 divided by 11 equals eight and then we have to work our eight something equals 96.

So if 88 is put into the machine.

The output with machines 96.

What's the missing function in the second part here?

And the answer, therefore would be eight multiplied by 12 equals 96.

Therefore, the answer to that one is see, And as you can see, they're quite fun these tests, but but they're brilliant for improving your numerical ability.

So what we're going to do now is now it's your turn.

Now, what is the missing function in the first part?

Because in the second part, you've given multiplied by 20 that we've changed it now a multiplied by to be divided by to see divided by five.

D minus 80 or e times 20 again.

You got 12 seconds.

Question number five.

Excuse me.

Nine is put into the machine and the output is 162.

What is the missing function?

In the first part?

The machine sequence you're given multiplied by two in the second part is it eight times nine b times eight C times 12 d times for E times two 12 seconds to answer the question.

Okay, question of six.

This is brilliant.

You're doing really well.

So question number 6 12 is put into the machine, and the output is 720.

What is the missing function in the first part of the second part is Times five is a A minus nine.

Be divided by three C.

Divided by four D times 12 or e minus two.

Question number seven Okay, 1198 is put into the machine.

The output is 104.

What's the missing function in the first part of the second part is plus five is a minus nine.

Be divided by to see divided by four D, minus 1089 or e minus 1098.

So 11 is put into the machine and the output of the machine is one.

What is the missing function in the second part?

If the first part is Times 11 is a A minus 111 be divided by 12 C, divided by four D, minus 112 or E minus 120.
