  • Well, it's been a big long season.

  • I know Everyone is exhausted at the end here.

  • Parker.

  • You had the biggest season in the history of gold.

  • Rush had over $10 million in gold.

  • A lot to celebrate.

  • That makes in our season total 72 23.

  • Theo 10 million Total is absolutely insane, right?

  • Yeah.

  • Especially when you think like we eked out like 37 ounces at my grandpa's place went 89 years ago when he first started.

  • Maybe there's a good pastry over here.

  • There must be gold out under it.

  • I think you should least investigate for equipped this season.

  • That's cause you think like a gold miner.

  • 7200 ounces.

  • Mitch, what do you think the key to your success this season was, man, it was so overwhelming.

  • At first we just broken into sections, and that's really how we tackled it.

  • Started in that far corner, started working our way out, and once we got that corner established, that was really important, because if we would have sluiced on the wrong side put upon on the wrong side, you could have just totaled it all.

  • By the way, we did it and how we were able to move Our water was very efficient.

  • Once we got sluice for down next to bigger ed, it was just a good system at work.

  • I've got to say it was It was the people.

  • That's the real key.

  • We just got such a good group of guys up there and And girls, there was a couple times when the crew kind of doubted your decision.

  • Just that I don't I don't see another way around it, but for the most part, thes guys totally bought in.

  • Yeah, well, there wasn't much option like it wasn't just on arbitrary goal like that.

  • Licenses expiring.

  • Right in that crown, We've got a lot of money sunk into it, and everybody, everybody stepped up and did a killer job.

  • Yeah, this is the first year you've been out from under the royalty.

  • What was it like your first year of, like, truly minding your own ground?

  • We broke 200.

  • That was good.

  • I just wish we had more of it.

  • It's the biggest problem.

  • No, overall, it was really good season.

  • And like when you're buying ground, it's really just in upfront royalty, right?

  • Yeah, I'm really glad to see that.

  • That piece of ground that we bought, we bought it two years ago.

  • I'm glad to see that it worked out and it was good.

  • It was a good decision.

  • Now, you guys, you guys had a rough season, right?

  • I mean, it seems like you take one step forward and take two steps back.

  • Right?

  • Way are way.

  • Don't have a lot of license debuting is going to come to a dead halt in the end of the month.

  • I mean, obviously, the water license issue really limited you guys, and you started off on kind of the wrong foot.

  • But why do you think you had such bad luck consistently throughout the season?

  • This happened.

  • This is just part of gold mining, right?

  • You have off years.

  • So in the end of the day, Okay.

  • At a flat year had a late start to started.

  • So sometimes that happens.

  • Keeps you humble.

  • Tony, this is the first year we didn't have consistent royalties coming in for Parker ago.

  • Don't spend it all at once.

  • What affected that have on your guy season?

  • Really?

  • Nothing.

  • I mean, it's nice to receive them every years.

  • Absolutely nothing wrong with.

  • But if you miss year willing, you just have to wait one hour.

  • Don't, right.

  • That's the solid ghosts you guys refuse.

  • Teoh say failure.

  • How do you do that?

  • In the face of such a rough season, we'll always stay positive.

  • That's number one.

  • Frustrating.

  • Have fun.

  • See you later.

  • Annoyed.

  • You maintain a very positive out.

  • Is there anything you could have done differently?

  • Or do you wish you hadn't given the kids as much responsibility?

  • Not really, no.

  • And we did accomplish a lot to it.

  • It's not a failure this year.

  • 2259.36 That's our total for the season.

  • Also, all the bills got paid and have enough money left over to go to Mexico.

  • I'm happy.

  • My version was almost all the bills got paid, and I had enough.

  • You go to McDonald's that's looking on the bright side of things.

  • I have to ask you guys, there's a moment when Monica ask you, Tony and many if you're proud of the kids, I think we always are.

  • Then good then.

  • But that's right.

  • They do the best they can do and they did well this spring.

  • Tony asked you guys to kind of step it up, and I think you all did so very proud of all.

  • Man, you look so proud right now.

  • I'm just, uh What's it like for you to see them working together?

  • It's really good.

  • Although sometimes I really think that you go somewhere else.

  • What do you mean?

  • Oh, my God.

  • Thing.

  • They have a problem with him.

  • They all come to me, and it's like, really like Like I'm the only one who has problems.

  • Oh, God.

  • Only started his promise.

  • How could they have a problem with me?

  • Way have.

  • It's just Can I come to you?

  • Too many.

  • That really sucked.

  • There is ego.

  • You want to see many again?

  • Rick?

  • You made the controversial move to leave the clan like to go to Kino.

  • It's gonna be a tragedy.

  • I'm super excited.

  • Got a place to mine.

  • Amount of cloud deck.

  • It was tough.

  • Yeah, it wasn't what you expected.

  • Yeah, we got kicked in teeth this year pretty hard.

  • Is there one thing that you could point to that Duncan that led to the downfall?

  • Well, I mean, the frost was the big thing that killed me because there wasn't supposed to be any permafrost.

  • Well, on this ground, I'm not giving up.

  • I mean, there's got to be thought ground here with golden it somewhere.

  • And that was a big thing for me for moving, because it was like, it's gonna cost money to move from a save money by not having a work frozen ground, right, Because that's a big cost.

  • That was the whole reason I went.

  • And by the time we got into him, where they were all frozen and I didn't have a single thing on my site, Teoh be able to deal with permafrost back to the drawing board.

  • Despite all your troubles, you put on your game face and you did your best to keep the crew motivated all the time.

  • But I don't even know if you believed in these pep talks.

  • It doesn't take a look.

  • Gold mining is hard, especially when you're not finding any gold.

  • Another one of them weeks this season.

  • Rick did his best to keep his crew motivated in the face of constant adversity, but I'm not sure even he was buying what he was selling 32.27 31.71 30.

  • I'm not quite.

  • 28.6.

  • I mean, gold prices this year.

  • That has helping big time.

  • No, we got $47 after money goes into bank for fuel.

  • So I mean, for what we ran, I'd say that's pretty good.

  • And we didn't have a lot of run time, so we can actually get some consistent run time.

  • You should be looking up really wanting these numbers to start going up.

  • But I know it's getting tiring.

  • Yeah.

  • You know, I'm just happy that you guys are all still here, and then we're also fighting for it, because at a certain point, we're gonna break through this wall.

  • You know, seriously, we're gonna have to find some better ground at that 2000 ounces, find something gold nuggets, then our goals back then re eventually, they're gonna put up some numbers, are gonna dig ourselves out of this hole, and it's gonna be good.

  • So about as long as we stick together, keep fighting this out.

  • You know we're gonna get there.

  • We'll get there.

  • We will get there.

  • We'll get that.

  • Okay.

  • Kind of like the second shift, and you're just trying to keep everybody on this ship and tell them I mean Life Boat show.

Well, it's been a big long season.
