hi everyone this is Jennifer from Tarle speech I have another request today and
the word is curfew and a curfew is a regulation to stay inside of your home
for certain times of the day so here's how the word is spelled curfew so to say
this word correctly we're going to think about two syllables syllable number one
is Kerr and syllable number two is few so few like this is a word that many of
you may know how to pronounce I think a lot of people get really confused with
this first syllable cur because of the way that the word is spelled so to say
this word correctly we're going to start with K tongue tip is down back is pulled
up and then we're going to move to the er sound to do this your lips are in a
square tense circle your tongue tip is either pointed down or flipped back
cur then we're going to move to fff you and to do this we're going to start with
the F sound to do this your mouth is slightly open and you're either biting
gently the inside or the outside of your bottom lip the mouth needs to be open
enough so that the air can still get out of the mouth continuously if you close
your lips too much it's going to sound like a p and we don't want that we want
the air to keep moving fff fff and then we're going to move to that you just like the
word you so again you can think of this word is just few or ff you and to say you
correctly the tip of your tongue is not touching your teeth at all it is flat in
your mouth if this sound is hard for you you can gently bite the insides of the
back of your tongue yeah yeah yeah and then you're going to round your lips for
that ew you you you you ker few curfew curfew curfew
curfew curfew curfew and now for a sentence
the mayor implemented a curfew give it a try I know people are going to notice
the difference if you found this helpful please give us a like and share us with

tomorrow bye-bye
