I have actually been to the USA before and that's is where I met Babi and Kaie

the designers of Triple Fortune for the very first time. My American dreams are

a lot harder to do and maybe they're even impossible. One is I would love to

go trick or treating on Halloween. I've never done it and I've always

admired it. I wish I could do that. What I'd do is... I would love

to actually have Thanksgiving Dinner with a big Turkey.

I only see it in movies. I wanna try and taste that turkey. Even vegan turkey

if that's thing. I'd love to go on a dinner like that. Finally... now this is...

super cheesy but I'd like to go to a prom. I've

always seen as prom as really important. The guy asks the girl out or the girl asks the boy out

and then she wears a pretty dress and comes down the stairs. It's probably absolutely impossible

for me to be someone's prom date. But I'd love to be someone's prom date. I wanna go to prom

and halloween... that's my American dream even though thats very difficult

to achieve. Maybe... in a miraculous way I will

Now what actually is this event and why is everyone dressed so fancy?

Brilliant Star decorations is the name of an event run but the designers of the Lolita Fashion brand

Triple Fortune: Babi and Kaie.

This was the third year we could participate in this special World Lolita Collection event.

Every year has a theme and this year's theme was “Beautiful Harmony”

which is the name of the current era of Japan.

Now why is this even called “World Lolita collection?

The designers travel to different places during the year,

and at the beginning of the year they invite those alternative Fashion Brands they met around the world

to come to Japan and present their collections at a grande fashion show.

This year 11 international brands took part among famous Japanese brands.

What makes this event so special?

The fashion show is presented with song, performance

and a fancy meal at a grande location.

Visitors also have the chance to buy some rare and international items

there and then.

The guests are always dressed their best and I appreciate every year how inclusive,

tolerant and friendly the atmosphere at this event is. Fashion clearly has no border.

Triple Fortune are traveling again to many countries this year

so you might have a chance to meet them at your country and be sure to say hi if you do.

It was a great pleasure for us to see what Japanese and international designers are releasing this year

and we're looking forward to seeing and featuring more unique fashion

styles from Japan and around the world in the future.
