on a quest for a delicious breakfast and we found this place called sigol bapsang (밥상) and

they seem to specialize in giant breakfasts

there are 24 hour restaurant means you come in any time of day and I think what

the meal is gonna be centered around it's like a meat dish a fish dish a soup

and a whole bunch of different banchan Korean side dishes

I brought my appetite I can't wait to go in there and chow down on some Korean

breakfast let's do it guys the mother of all Korean breakfast feast has arrived

at the table I mean I used to live in Korea and I've never had a breakfast

this complete this massive this impressive so I'm gonna give you a full

tour before I talk in so over here we have a Japchae (잡채) which is a Korean

glass noodles this is typically served for like Hanjeonsik which are royal Korean feast also you have it for Chinese

Korean food over here we have some greens we of course have our bowl of

rice it's a staple with any Korean breakfast and a Korean meal really then

we have like a Miyeok-guk (미역국) which is a seaweed soup soy bean looks like

soybeans soybean paste I should say over here it appears we have some spicy fish

cakes with a gochujang sauce I have no idea what this is but I do see some

mushrooms it looks like a like kind of a soupy bamboo kind of mushroom mix over

here it appears there's some traditional rice drink they actually brought this to

us before the meal came we haven't again we haven't tried it this over here is

called Jeyuk-bokkeum (제육볶음) it's spicy Korean pork and a red gochujang sauce

it also has onions too it's gonna be fantastic here is fish over here I

believe we have jigae check this out guys so it's a Korean stew soy bean stew

and there's tofu we've got mushrooms shoots we've got all kinds of greens we

have two kinds of sauces we have a solid with what appears to be a sesame

dressing we have kimchi (김치) over here we have a Jeon (파전) a Korean pancake a green

Korean pancake and this is David's rice and soup that's the only items that are

the and the last thing for me to show you is

we have different kinds of lettuce and leaves and seaweed and cabbage which you

can obviously use for the meat you would grab some of this meat put it in there

and eat it so really that is a complete tour the only thing left for me to do is

to devour it so I'm gonna start things off with this or some rice in here let's

try that ooh it's super light it's very little taste and it's not cold nor warm

it's lukewarm lukewarm drink I would describe it as maybe it's like a palate

cleanser it's got a bit of a milky consistency

alright guys like this isn't almost intimidating I don't even know where to

begin so I'm just alerted and I think I'll start with what's in front of me so

let's try the chopped a Korean glass and noodles with the carrot mmm mudal oh

just over let's try some of the Greens gonna grab a bitter rice with that oh

very strong aftertaste moving on to the mushrooms mushrooms I see a little bit

of what appears to be tofu skin this is a creamy sauce mmm that's my favorite so

far there shit now I'm going to try the soup we'll see you eat the meal cook

see we distillations nice big thick pieces not overly salty as different

from the dried Korean seaweed which tends to be saltier and crispier this is

thicker and you're not insulting all right moving on to these fish cakes

these look delicious they basically look like thicker than

holding kind of slices I'm gonna try that with a bit of rice a nice chewy

texture a bit of a sweet and spicy sauce that's delicious

all right sums of five more side dishes I'm gonna try the kimchi grabbing a bit

of the gimchi putting it into the rice here Oh oh my gosh such fresh kimchi mmm

loaded with red pepper sauce all that's why Z you know like that David solid

with a sesame sauce and then the tube there's three really principled dishes

that I'm going to be trying out for this old ooh that sauce is amazing

mmm it's a sesame sauce a little bit of the Korean pancake here have a small

piece look at that oh the back all right so there are three principal dishes here

they're all right in front of me so we've got you gave the fish and the Geo

cocoon so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna start off with the GOP boom the spicy

pork and how you would eat that as you grab the lettuce wrapper for instance

take some of this this already comes in and it's in a spicy sauce so I'm gonna

just swirl this around so it it gets even more of the liquids the juices okay

that's dripping a little bit I'm gonna take that here you know what normally I

might even add something more but I think I'm just gonna keep it simple bite

wrap that up like that and that is a one biter guys look at that

mmm delicious that pork is succulent like it's just so tender I'm gonna have

the onions and you have the spicy green sauce which is also sweet as amazing

guys can't believe I'm having this for breakfast this is like cheese to feast

moving on to the fish with the squash when you grab a little bit of this and

then a little bit of fish though there's lots of bones here like literally tons

of Bowl so I'm gonna try to grab a piece it doesn't have to

and it comes in Ithaca is a subpoena Stu this like there's a lot of sauce here

it's difficult to pick up mmm my fish is super tender but I do have some bones

from don't happen to that really well what's really really tasty really savory

and the last thing for me to try here is Giggy the tofu so I'm grabbing some of

that taking some of the mushrooms look at the hot guys it's hot oh my gosh

that's amazing they did this so well nice rich broth it didn't skimp out on

the soybean paste really nice tofu guys this is like this

is the feast of feasts when it comes to Korean breakfast I've never had anything

like this even for all the time that I spent in Korea while traveling and

living here I've never had a breakfast this amazing this is just phenomenal

everything tastes so good there's so much variety but the price is incredible

at nine thousand Korean Won probably ate something US dollars for this all of

this unbelievable volume alright Sam dude this has been make the most epic

breakfast of all time I mean I love it all these veggies almost very little

carbs obviously got the rice and then we have nice protein in the middle so we

got the pork the fish and then we have the tofu with some crab but do my

favorite thing has to be this one what was it too big I got this Johnny do you

have it too much too much spicy pork just get in here nice for oh but don't

don't get too much because then you won't be able to fit you yeah it's not a

one bite here young man that's so good all right baby eat it in there huh bathe

in here and then if you really want to be adventurous throw some kimchi into it

too a little more spice a little spicier I'm really tired morning there we go

took us a long time to find this breakfast place everywhere is closed

today on Sunday morning hmm good there's a lot of layers of spice their cars

quasi pork missus or me nice flavor crunchy kimchi from top of that crunchy

lettuce dude just so good and then the second

thing like my second favorite here has to be the fish cakes

spice a bitch case just you guys know guys I'm gonna leave you with some glass

noodles I'm off to the rule off to the rage that the glass noodles hmm well

it's been it's been amazing man having a meal like this together we didn't expect

we were fine somewhere like this for breakfast

yeah I gotta admit this was totally random and what ignite surprise it was

flurry random and so horrible yeah nine dollars early nineteen oh nine thousand

one HP what an affordable meal delicious you have to do it when you can of busan

dude that was a killer meal oh my god I popped Bob I know so much food so way

more than we expected for breakfast where are we heading after this oh so

right now we're gonna do is where to help in a taxi and go straight to the

center of the city to busan tower it's a hundred and twenty meter observation

deck so we're gonna go up to the top of tower and see all of the Sun are you

guys ready so we hopped in the cab enjoying Busan

dude I'm loving Busan yeah second city is always the best city I don't want to

ride on Seoul but this is really cool it's more local less foreigners I may

just have feels like a more like you know local vibe

yeah and totally know what you mean and people have been so friendly to us like

remember at the baseball game playing in three people beating us you know really

good service at the restaurants and yeah so easy to find a cab we just walked out

of the restaurant was a little taxi rank going on it's really chill on a Sunday

there's like a third or a quarter of the traffic which is just amazing means that

we're gonna go really quickly yeah and there's no Hoover so no over the Sun and

there's also this Metro but we haven't been able to find one next to our yeah

our Airbnb in case you guys were wondering taxis are very affordable in

Korea it's like you can go like 15 20 30 minutes and spend less than 20 bucks

always so yeah it's an affordable way to get around especially if you're

splitting the fair with a friend that's what we're doing yeah it's definitely

not Scandinavia you know on the way to the tower

we found a souvenir shop yeah we found a souvenir shop and I've been looking for

mass you know I collect mass yeah and I actually found two really traditional

masks one of those right here it's the white one another like wooden ones

really really nice for a traditional also have this one here's cut mom yeah

it's kind of like the abbot of a much bigger yeah yeah and yeah I mean the

cost was forty and thirty so forty thousand thirty thousand yeah and I go

negotiate a little bit got ten thousand off so it cost me making fifty five

bucks the only thing left for us to do is hike up a few steps until we get to

the tower and after that enormous breakfast I need

the exercise that's for sure so it is only late me but it's already

getting pretty hot and blues and summer in canoes ha someone created is the real

deal and what's nice about this part is it's like not only is it is it beautiful

serene but it's also really shaded there's a lot of shade cover a lot of

trees lots of trees that's so like the temperatures like 5 10 degrees cooler

yeah I know it feels great and I mean it's a big hike but it's worth it so

we're almost to the tower I'm gonna see it right here yeah one more staircase

let's go do it we're ready to yeah I need to get a drink of them and go up

let's go David you're grabbing the tickets for us yeah so the tickets are

8,000 each or roughly like seven US dollars whoo cruising about deal

so David who sounds beautiful huh yeah this is amazing you got a port

you've got the bridges you've got mountains I mean it's all this is the

best spot for the view I mean they couldn't have put the tower in a better

place right here we have the ocean more fish market over here we have you know

the down scenario worst thing up there Busan station got a mountain yeah I mean

this reminds me of like Rio yeah it really looks so different I've never

been to an easy City like this yeah yeah and I mean look at that it's super

stunning it is beautiful from here you know what's cool about the cities it's

so spread out there yeah yeah super spreader paper spread elasticity

master's in it look how you see the mountains in the park look at that over

there that's where the Honda Beach's the biggies Wow and the other far away we

were there a few days ago crazy

dude what a morning what a morning whole surprises do it started off with an epic

reckless the biggest breakfast of all time I know the biggest Korean breakfast

I have ever had the most amount of dishes and seeing the mounted badge and

I think we both like the spicy pork the best yeah that was the best of lettuce

oh I should be like a little pork wrap yeah so it's so fresh with it with the

veggies and you feel like you're eating so healthy low-carb tons of protein lots

of vegetables and then to come out here and get the best view of the city busan

tower on a Sunday you know I recommend coming on a Sunday like we did not too

many people I mean just overall a great day man a great morning and I think
