hi everyone this is Jennifer from Tarle speech and I have a quick bonus
lesson for you thanks to a linked-in subscriber so let's just get right to it
the words are first meaning number one position and fast meaning quick so the
difference here is going to be the vowel so let's take a look at the words in the
word first we are going to focus on the e.r fur to make that ER vowel think
about making square lips and they're going to be tense and that's going to
help get your tongue in the right position for the er you know the drill
you've seen so many of my videos tongue tip is either pointed towards the bottom
of the mouth or flipped back and pointing towards the back of the mouth
but the key is do not touch your teeth with your tongue er er in fast we
have this short a a a fast so we have er with the square lips and then aa really wide
open circle lips and that's going to help your tongue get low in your mouth
the tongue tip is going to be super low and the back is going to be pulled up
towards the roof of the mouth so we have ah ah now let's add that F at the
beginning fur and fa and then we're going to end with the st to do this make sure
that you keep that air moving for the s and to do that your tongue is not going
to touch your teeth then touch the tip of your tongue to the back of your top
front teeth for that t st st and let's put that all together we have first first
first fast fast fast you must be fast to be
first in line give it a try I know people are going to notice the
difference if you found this helpful please give us a like and share us with
