question is how do I pronounce the words suggestion or a proposed idea let's take

a look at the word I think a lot of the confusion comes in because of the

spelling we actually have a J sound in the middle of the word which gets a

little confusing because we have two G's that confuses some people and then also

typically when we see tion we say tion and in this case we're not going to say

Sh we're going to say CH instead so let's start with the beginning which

people usually get sug it's super easy we're just gonna say that nice short uh

sound sug next here's where it gets a little tricky for people we're going to

move to the J sound and say Jess Jess to say the J sound be sure that you touch

your teeth with the tip of your tongue so touch the tip of your tongue to the

back of your top front teeth J J sugg Jess and then end with

Chun Chun again just like we touched the tip of the tongue to the back of the top

front teeth for the J we're going to do the same to start this CH sound ch ch

sug Jess Chung and then to end it make sure you use that nice short u sound and

then you end with the N by again touching the tip of your tongue to the

back of your top front teeth and for the n the air moves out of your nose let's

put that all together sug Jess chun sug Jess chun suggests chun
