Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles hi everyone Jennifer from Tarle speech with your two Tuesday Christmas edition along with my partner Claire um an elf um I think you saw our like turkey thing on Thanksgiving so now let's jump into the lesson so for today we have two words for you rain and rein rain is the precipitation that falls out of the sky and rein is what you put on a horse to pull it back you might also hear this at work when people say I want to rein someone in we kind of pull them back with the reins so to say these words correctly you're going to start with an R sound er to do this think of square tense lips the tip of your tongue is either going to be down or rolled back just do not touch your teeth and do not let the tip of your tongue move er then move to the long vowel a and you're going to do this by opening your mouth wide and then moving to a smile a a and you can see my a mouth is in a wide circle and that allows my tongue to get low in the mouth to start that vowel and then it ends behind the top front teeth flat in the mouth then we're gonna end with the n nnnn and to do this you are going to touch the tip of your tongue to the back of your top front teeth and the air will come out of your nose let's give those words a try rain rain rain and now for a sentence the it was dark scary night and it was Christmas and rain the rain like two sentence of rain the rain pulled the rein so the rein deers went back give it a try I know people are going to notice the difference we just want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and one more thing yes um I was Rudolph one year yes check out that video I'll post the link below last year Claire was dressed as Rudolph thanks so much everyone Merry Christmas
