This is where the new president will take the oath of office by George Herbert Walker Bush that I will faithfully execute the office of president of the United States and will, to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

The custom of an inaugural address or speech began in 17 89 with America's first president, George Washington.

Every president since Washington has delivered an inaugural address.

Let me a certain my firm belief that the only thing we have to here it we must be willing individually and as a nation to accept whatever sacrifices may be required of us.
