  • All right.

  • Steve Carell, in "The Morning Show."

  • It's so good.

  • It's really, really good.

  • Tell everybody what it's about.

  • I play a character named Mitch Kessler.

  • He's a morning personality who is

  • accused of sexual misconduct.

  • And that scene was with Martin Short,

  • who he's commiserating with about their--

  • they've both been accused of sexual misconduct.

  • The show is about--

  • that's sort of the catalyst for what happens.

  • It's not really about my character.

  • It's about how it impacts this show and the people within it.

  • And cover-ups and how, supposedly, that people

  • higher up know when things are happening.

  • Yeah.

  • And don't really do anything about it.

  • Yeah.

  • Web of lies.

  • There's a lot.

  • I mean, it's 10 episodes.

  • I thought it was very well written.

  • Boy, it's really, really good.

  • And, you know, I think a lot of people

  • are thinking your character is someone that we all know about.

  • But it's basically just a coincidence

  • that there's someone out there that was on a morning show--

  • that happened.

  • It's not based on anyone in particular.

  • Right.

  • Like, my characterization isn't based on any one person.

  • That's true, yeah.

  • OK.

  • Because this is-- you know, they're

  • talking about Harvey Weinstein in the episodes,

  • and a lot of different people.

  • Yeah, sure.

  • So Jen just recently joined Instagram.

  • And she broke records for the fastest to get to a million.

  • In, like, five hours or something, she

  • had a million followers.

  • I see you kind of throwing down the gauntlet there.

  • I'm saying that if you-- you should possibly-- 'cause you're

  • not on Instagram.

  • I am not.

  • And I think you should be.

  • I think people-- you're very funny.

  • [CROWD CHEERING]

  • You could post pictures of yourself

  • with a dog head and a blender.

  • There's so many different things we'd like to see.

  • I think people are really excited and interested

  • in seeing what I do.

  • Yeah, they-- you are correct.

  • My life is so intriguing.

  • Well, things like that would be intriguing to people.

  • And it doesn't always have to be a blender.

  • You could block it out--

  • like, blur it out, and say, guess what I'm holding.

  • Hey, hey, hey, stay off my Instagram.

  • Oh.

  • I know what I'm doing here.

  • OK.

  • Are you going to join Instagram?

  • No.

  • Why not?

  • I don't know.

  • Sure.

  • I don't know.

  • You should-- I mean, what else you got to do?

  • I could read a book, I suppose.

  • Yeah, right.

  • I don't know, interact with humans.

  • No.

  • Nah?

  • Nobody wants to do that anymore.

  • I'll do Instagram then.

  • Sure, maybe I'll give it a shot.

  • You should give it a shot.

  • OK.

  • Do it.

  • All right.

  • Try to get to a million faster.

  • You show that Jen Aniston something.

  • I'll get to a million in four hours.

  • Yeah.

  • That ain't going to happen.

  • Well, if you have a dog head on and a blender, it might.

All right.
