Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles Hi guys! Welcome back to “On the go with EF”. I'm still in Dublin, Ireland, and today, I'm discovering the Temple Bar area. This is where it all happens. As you can see, Temple Bar is quite a lively area. It's located south of the River Liffey in central Dublin. This area is very popular with tourists for its nightlife, pubs, restaurants and cafés. Besides its unsavoury reputation, I've got to say that the residents of Temple Bar are doing a very good job of keeping the place as authentic as they can. You don't really see any big chains here. It's all these boutiques and personalized coffee shops, barber shops and vintage shops. I think it's very charming. The architecture as well. The brick buildings and the cute little facades with flower pots. It is very charming. Temple Bar is also known for its cultural attractions. They have the only art house cinema in Dublin and it's located in the Irish Film Institute, which is right here. Leprechaun - A kind of fairy in Irish folklore. If captured, leprechauns grant three wishes in return for their freedom. Hello. You took your hat off! I wanted a picture with you. I feel terrible now! Okay. We'll do it anyway. Come on. Okay! Make a wish. Anything you want in the world. Anything I want? I want a lot of things. How many wishes do I get? You get three. Three? Thank you. That's very kind of you. But you don't have to use them right away. Wow. This is a big wish. Are you ready? Yes. Okay, now you can hold it. Wave it in the air and shake it about. So, this is to make the wish come true. That's one of my dreams come true. I've always wanted to dance with a red-haired man. Here's a good example of graffiti. I think this is beautiful. It's a little boy and girl taking care of our planet. It's something to wake up a little bit of the awareness within. On to Nelly's Sweet Shop. This reminds me of the place from the Harry Potter books - the one where they sold all the chocolate magical frogs and jelly beans. There they are! Harry Potter Bertie Bott's Beans. Harry Potter Chocolate Frogs. Oh my god, I didn't even see that! You see? Ha ha! Guys, I had such a savage day today at the Temple Bar area. You have to visit it if you ever come to Dublin. I also got you a black sheep cup, but to get it, you have to answer one of my questions. If you had a wish from a leprechaun, what would you wish for? Comment below, and the best answer is going to get this. Thank you so much for watching and make sure to come back next week. Bye! Next Week: Kendra goes to a baseball game in Boston
