Let's let's save the speech for when we reach one million subscribers right Today we have a very, very useful lesson.

We're going to be talking about how we can end conversations ending conversations.

Is Justus important?

If you're talking to someone and then you see your watch and you suddenly realize, Oh, I'm late, I need to pick the kids up from school that there are many, many different situations where you can find yourself needing to escape a phone call or a conversation with someone on.

A lot of it actually comes down to Internation eso.

Make sure you have your singing voices with you today because we're going to be practicing Cem Internation to show that we're kind of ending a conversation.

Let's start with three or four kind of really useful words which can end a conversation or begin the end.

The first thing you need to do is look for the gaps.

You can't just interrupt someone while they're talking and say I need to go.

You have to wait for the gaps.

If you want to be polite.

So you have tow.

Wait until that person has left a pause in their speech or if they've kind of finished talking about something in particular.

Or maybe you've just reached an awkward silence on you need to say goodbye now.

And you could simply say, Okay, well, all right or right?

Or anyway, so try and copy the way I say these.

The first one.

Okay.

Okay.

Okay.

Next one.

All right, right.

Right.

Anyway, anyway, it's very hard to explain with the hands.

Internation is a lot easier to explain when you have a white board.

Which is why I created an online course.

So using these words in these ways a kind of ways of asserting our authority.

It's a way of us saying I'm in here now I'm speaking, and it's time to say goodbye.

Time for me to end this conversation so we just use a simple words to begin the goodbye.

The listener, especially if they're native, will know when you do this they will.

Definitely 100% know that you're ready to go, because it's the way that you say.

It's the fact that you're just filling a gap by saying one of these words in a particular tone.

It's like saying time to get.

Then we need to follow up.

So I need you to think about a few things.

Is this someone that you're very close with?

Is this someone that you see often?

If it's someone that you see quite a lot, maybe you're seeing them next week or you're calling them next week.

Or you could simply say, Okay, well, I'll call you next week or all right, well, we'll catch up next week.

Or if you want to add a question tag anyway, we're seeing each other next week.

Aren't we on way?

We're seeing each other next week, aren't we?

So you could say, for example, right, I best be off anyway.

It's been lovely talking to you, but I need to go and pick the kids up from school.

Okay?

I'd better get a move on.

Okay, I'd better get a move on.

Better get a move on.

Better get er, move on.

To get a move on means to leave to get onto the next thing I need to do.

So you can actually tell someone.

Get a move on.

And that means hurry up, do this faster and so we can get on to the next thing.

So I'd better get a move on.

Means I'd better kind of stop talking to you now because I need to go and do something else.

Very, very popular.

One.

And this one I use a lot.

So if you're stuck, this is a really good one on.

It's a very quick ones.

Well, anyway, I won't keep you anyway.

I won't keep you on.

That means, um I won't continue wasting your time.

It's kind of like a polite way of ending a conversation because it's like a way of saying, um, I won't waste your time any longer.

I won't keep you to myself for any longer because you probably have other people to see or talk to you, and that's how it works.

We push a word in there to say that we're going to say goodbye.

We then follow it up with a polite statement that we need to go to the gym or do something, or that we will speak to them next week or tomorrow or call them later.

Or maybe we just need to say, I need to get going.

I have things to do.

So I we don't even have to explain what we're going to do.

We could just say I'd better get a move on or I won't keep you meaning we're in a rush.

We need todo, so I hope that kind of helps.

It sounds very simple when it's explained by a teacher, but it is actually very complicated.

But if you copy my tone, you copy the way I speak.

I promise you it will become easier to say goodbye.

An end conversations with people.
