Held annually on 16th October, people from around the world come together to declare their commitment to eradicate worldwide hunger from our lifetime. World Food Day is a chance to show our commitment to sustainable development. Goal To to achieve zero hunger by 2030 fax to know about hunger. The world produces enough food to feed everyone. Yet 815 million people suffer from hunger. Hunger kills more people every year than malaria, tuberculosis and AIDS combined. The cost of malnutrition to the global economy is the equivalent of $3.5 trillion a year. One third of the food produced worldwide was lost or wasted. The world will need to produce 60% more food by 2050 to feed a growing population. No other sector is more sensitive to climate change than agriculture. On what can we do to change this? If you provide a cup of food to Children in schools and underdeveloped countries, you provide a nutritional safety net that keeps kids, especially girls in school so they get an education. Food assistance in crisis situations, saves lives and is often the first step on the road to recovery. Food can also protect lively hoods and support education. We need to connect farmers to the people, and resource is so in this way they increase their production and can feed their families and increase their incomes. Technology can revolutionize the face of hunger. Today in Syria, the refugees from the rat get a voucher on a cell phone to spend in a local store.
