Like my dad just called me in the middle of class, and I thought, you know, hey, maybe it was a butt dial. He's like no, I just wanted to say hi. >> Neither of my parents went to college. So I'm really thankful that my grandparents gave me like some money, and that, so that I was able to attend college. Also I didn't like any of the colleges in my home state. I'm actually out of state. And so I'm thankful that I was accepted into Davis, and I could like expand my horizons and go to a new state and get an education here. >> I'm thankful for my friends and family and the opportunities that I've had so far and that I have going on. I'm applying to law school now. And it's kind of a time to reflect on what you've done and the people that have been there to help me accomplish the things that I have. And the opportunities that I have for the future is something that I'm really thankful for. >> graduating, pretty much. And my friends and family. >> Here at Davis, I'm thankful for UC Davis women's rowing. >> I think it's very important to reflect on the things you're thankful for. As a history major, I spend a lot of time looking in the past. And taking that information in the past. And kind of developing it into ways that we can kind of use it to make us better people. Make society better make the campus better, things like that. >> Because I love them, and I wanted to show my family members that I was gonna graduate from college and be the first to graduate. >> I just joined the team, and all my teammates are fantastic. I know the team. But it's already been working hard for the last three years, and they're really strong great girls. And very supportive. And it's, keeps you organized. And it helps me get through the day, and I get really excited to see them every single morning, even though I have to wake up at 4:00 am. >> I'm thankful for growing up in the Bay area. Because I had the opportunity to just grow up with so many different kinds of people. And really get connected to lots of different cultures and it opened up my mind. And I don't know, opened up my mind. >> I am thankful for coffee, because it tastes good and it keeps me awake. >> I think ultimately, around this time, I'm really thankful for my family. Don't get to see them very much. But starting with this part of the year, you get to see them a little bit more for vacations and stuff. So I'm really thankful that I'm able to have a home that I can go to with my family that loves me. >> Oh, I mean, it just introduced me to who I am today. Like, I, the Bay Area is full of like different kinds of music like hip hop and, and dance and stuff that I, I really enjoy. So it shaped who I am today. >> It's important because with the stress of kind of college and like the quarter system and all that, it's really nice to kinda get away and just have like a real strong support network at home. It just really helps me get through like all my schoolwork and the stuff, the tough stuff I have to do here. [MUSIC]
