This Nigerian stunt crew is bringing recreations of famous fight scenes to Nollywood.

The hope is to put some muscle into a film industry better known for drama, comedy and romance.

The 15 member Excel Theater started out by posting dance and comedy routines on social media.

They then recreated summer film and television's most intense fight scenes from hits like Into the Badlands on the Witcher.

Now the team has been flown to Lagos.

After Nollywood producers spotted their talents, Sam Well er founded the company.

There's a lot of possibilities.

When we started, we actually were sort of scared.

That can really do this.

I realize that we can't do this.

We can't do anything we want now in Lagos, the team are here to choreograph action sequences for upcoming films in a bid to bolster the genre.

Sam well says he usually pays for shoots with his little as $80 by making furniture a skill that's also useful when creating props with all the edges.
