Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles - Can I ask everybody to put their phones away for just a second? - Yes. - Cliff, you don't spend enough time with your family. New rule, we are all gonna start spending more quality time together. (unsure bouncy music) Starting today, we are removing all video games. - Spending time with the girls cause it's something that's past overdue, so I like how she implemented that, but taking the game away is probably gonna be the hardest thing for me to deal with. - I'm happy with it. - I'm happy. - You like it? (air whooshing) - Rule number one. I've been Tracy for the past few days now. For the rest of the time I'm here, you will be Tracy. (unsure bouncy music) So you can actually what your wife has to do every day. - You're not expecting me to put her clothes on or nothing, are ya? - You might have to. - She doesn't know me. - What was that Mike? - I didn't say anything. (dramatic bouncy music) (air whooshing) - When my husband and I were going through our rough times, I had to remind him of our vows and ask him to think about what we had promised each other in the beginning. (gentle guitar music) New rule, Cliff, I want you to rewrite your vows to Candace. - We never wrote vows at all. - You never? - We got married at the courthouse and it was quick, so. - I think this will really touch her heart and make her feel like you really do wanna give it a shot. - I guess we'll see what happens. (dramatic music) (air whooshing) - Mike, Mina. There is more to life than the gym. So we are done with the gym. - Uh uh. (bouncy music) - All I've done at the house so far is I've slept there and then I'm back at the gym. I thought we'd at least do something outside of being wrestlers. - Some struggle coming. - No. Past few days, I followed your rules. Now you have to follow mine. That's the end of my rules. (bell dinging) - Okay, so that's it for my rules. We're going upstairs and we're gonna take the video console. - Wait (claps). - [Tracy] Let's go. - [Brook] No more video games. - Well we're gonna put it somewhere where Dad can't find it. Nothing is hopeless. Cover his eyes, Brook. - Your hands are too small. - If you really work and really try and connect with your family, I think anything can be fixed. (light upbeat music) - [Narrator] At the Sharer house, instead of following Candace's new rules, Mike has decided to leave the house. (knocking) - Mike! Oh, he is not here. I know that he left this morning to go to the gym. I found that to be extremely disrespectful. - [Narrator] Three hours later, Mike finally returns home. - Over the last few days, I was being Tracy for him, but now Mike is really about to meet Candace. Mike! The real nut cracker. - Yeah? - Come out. (curious bouncy music) - Oh my God. - So I came up here looking for you earlier, you weren't here. Where were you? - I might've slipped out real quick. - To go where? - I drove by the gym. - What would driving by it do? Did you go inside? - I was checking to make sure, yes, I went inside. I had to go-- - But I didn't I say, no more gym? That was the rule. The fact that he totally ignored everything that I said was upsetting. Where are your cleaning supplies? - I really don't know if we have cleaning supplies, Candace. - That's terrible, Mike. - First of all, I don't know why Mina's not up here with me. - This is about Mike. (uneasy bouncy music) I want you to help out more with cleaning. - It's an eye irritant. Can you get safety goggles for me? - I think you'll be okay. - I have glasses, okay, if I go blind. - It's gonna be okay. - And you guys understand-- - Move the stuff off of the oven. There you go. Scrub it, it'll come off. - I'm telling you, it's a little bit of-- - Get-- - You need to let me finish, it's a little bit of Tracy buildup. - But Mike, I don't care. - First thing you don't need to do is yell at me at all, about anything. - No, I'm yelling, cause you walked through the door the first day screaming, so I'm yelling. I'm yelling all day! (slapping) - Far as I'm concerned, we can send Candace home and get her out of my house. - Move faster. - [Mike] We almost done? - No, we break when I break. (dramatic music) (air whooshing) (upbeat music) - New rule. Cliff, you're gonna make your family some pizza. What do you think Candace would say if you asked her to cook with you? - She'd probably be surprised. - I feel good about this day because we're getting really close. - When was the last time you guys all sat here, eating a meal together that you cooked? - It's never been a routine where we all have to eat at the table together. - If you could have you video games back right now, would you take them? - Of course I would take it, but that doesn't necessarily mean I would play them. (curious bouncy music) - Do you like spending more time with your friends, except for us? - I do not like spending more time with my friends than you guys. I just chose to spend more time with my friends than you guys. I regret it and I wanna do better. (light upbeat music) - I don't know if Cliff is gonna change. I don't know if he's doing enough to really show his family that he wants to keep them together. We'll see how it goes. (dramatic music)
