Henry, we're gonna miss. You will never forget you, but will always be grateful for you showing all of us how to chase our dreams. His Children and grandchildren must know that he was a really life flesh and blood man. He felt his anger. He felt his bitterness. He felt his resentment. But I think one reason he never got rid of those boxes of hate mail he got first. They just spurred him on to break the home run record. But then I think he kept it to remind himself that grace is not the absence of anger, our resentment. It is the conscious choice not to surrender to them. A choice every human being has to make every day for 47 years. Henry and I walked this journey together. A journey that ended on Friday on a Friday morning when we were not able to awaken him, he had slept into eternity.
