Youarecomingtopreferencesalldayeveryday. Formostofyouthisis a subconsciousprocess.
Butthosepeoplewhoenjoythemosthappinessinthislifemakethissubconsciousprocess a consciousone. Thepeoplewhogetwhattheywanttakethetimetofigureoutwhattheywantfirst. Thereis a reasonwhywhenyousitthereinyouraspectof I don't knowwhat I want, thatyoudon't gettheanswer.
It's becauseyoucan't bevibratingatthesamefrequencyas a questionandbe a matchtotheanswer. Everytimewefocuson: "I don't knowwhat I want." "Whatisitthat I needtohaveinmylife." "Whatisitthat I'm supposedtobedoing."; theanswertothosequestionscan't participateinyourreality.
Playthegameofwhatdon't youwant. Manyofyoumaynotknowwhatyouwant, butyoudefinitelyhave a feelingofresentmentorresistancewithinyou.
Andwhatthatis, isyoupayingattentiontowhatyoudon't want. So, payattentiontowhatyoudon't wantandthenplay a gameofopposites. Onceyou figureoutwhatyoudon't want, spinitaroundand figureoutwhattheoppositeofthatwouldbeforyou.
Now, theoppositeofwhatthatwouldbeforyoumightnotbethemostobviousanswer. Forexample: ifyousay "I don't wanttobesick", theoppositeofthatmightnotbe "I wanttobewell". Itmightwanttobe: " I wanttohaveenoughtrustinmybody, toknowthatregardlessofwhathappenstoit, itisalwaysinalignmentwithhealth."
Taketimeto figureoutwhythingsreallybotheryou. Mycorebeliefexercise, which I demonstratedintheshadowworkvideo, is a reallygoodonetouseforthis.
Ifyou figureoutthedetailsofwhyyoudon't likewhatitisthatyoudon't like, thatwillgiveyou a moreaccurateideaaboutwhatitisthatyouactuallydoyouwant. Beginmentallyplayingouthowsomethingcouldchange.
So, ifyoustartwiththeaspectof "I don't likethejobthat I amin", startplayingoutwhatitmightlooklikeifitwouldimproveandcontinuetoimproveandcontinuetoimprove. Whenyouareplayingoutthisvisualizationofimprovingwhateveritisthatyoudon't like, askyourselfwhatwouldbebetter.
Now, thatmightlooklike a newscenarioinyourmindandthenaskwhatwouldbebetterthaneventhat. Youwanttocontinuefollowingthisandfollowingthisuntilyougettowhatseemslikethebestpossiblescenarioforyou, andthatiswhatyoureallywant.
Andnow, youcanusethatlistto figureoutwhatyouwouldliketofeel: "I'd liketofeelinspired", "I'd liketofeelexcited", "I wouldliketofeelasif I'm a contributionatmyjob."
Perhapswhatyouwantis a jobthatallowsyouthefreedomtobewithyourfamilymore. Perhapsyouwant a jobthatmakesyoufeelmorefree.

Wecouldconsiderthis a pivotingexercise. Figuringoutveryaccurately "what I don't want, helpsmetoknowwhat I dowant, andonce I knowwhat I dowant, I canfocusinthedirectionofthat."
Thiscouldnotbefartherfromthetruth. Butifyou'vebeenlivingthatkindoflife, there's a highlikelihoodthatyouhavenʼt evenaskyourselfatthispoint "whatisitthat I want."
Play a gameofnolimits, pretendingthatthisuniversecouldbecomeexactlywhatyouwantinthebestcasescenario, a disneylandtypeofscenario. Nowtakeout a paperand I wantyoutowritedown "I want...........".
Nowwiththehandthatyoudon't usuallywritewith, I wantyoutobeginwritinganythingthatcomestoyoursubconsciousmind, anythoughtthatpopsup. Justwriteitdownwithoutjudgment. Itdoesn't matterhowridiculousthisseems.
Onceyouaredonewiththatexercise, atthebottomofthepage I wantyoutoaskyourselfthisquestion: "If I coulddoorbeanythinginthislife, anythingatall, whatwould I wanttodoorbe." Onceyouhavedonetheseexercises, which I havepreviouslyexplained, I wantyoutoaskyourself: "Whyyouwantthesethingswhichyou'vediscoveredthatyouwant."
Forexample: Wecouldstartwith "I want a newjob". Ifyouasked "Why I want a newjob", theanswercouldbe, "So I likewhat I'm doingfor a living". Wecanask "Whywouldyouwanttolikewhatyouaredoingfor a living", theanswercouldbe "Because I wanttofeelgoodaboutmyself".
"I wanttofeelgoodaboutmyself", inthisscenario, istherootdesire. Youhavewhittledownyourdesirestotherootwhichis "I wanttofeelgoodaboutmyself".
Make a listofabsolutelyeverythingthatmakesyoufeelgood, thatmakesyoufeelpassionateorjoy. Onthislist, Wewanteverything, howeverbigorsmall, tobeonit.
So, thingsas "Because I lovefallinginlove", andthingsassmallas "I lovethewayitfeelswhenmyshoesreally fit".
Whenyoutaketimetoreallypayattentiontohowyoufeelandthethingswhichmakeyoufeelgood, youwillcomeclosertotheanswerto "What I wantinmylife". Becauseyourpurposeisalwaysintandemwithwhatyoufeeljoyandpassiondoing.
Payattentiontoyourfeelingsofenvy. Envyis a goodindicationaboutwhatitisthatyouwant.
Whenyoudon't knowwhatyouwant, youcan findyourlifein a kindofstalemate: "I'm notreallymovingbecause I don't knowwhether I wantthatorthatorthat, and I donʼt reallyfeelinspiredtowardsanything." Ironicallyenough, thisis a goodtimetotakesomekindofaction.
Andatleast, takinganaction, jumpingatanopportunitythatatleastfeels a littlebitgoodor a littlebitright, isatleastenergymoving. Andonceyougetthatenergymovingintherightdirection, inanydirection, youwillbeabletohaveitbecomemuchmoreclearwhatitisyoudon't likeandlike.
So, ifyouthinkthatyouwant a newjob, ifitfeelsgoodtogolookfor a newjob, golookfornewjobandtakeone. Onceyouareinthatnewjob, youwillhave a moreaccurateideaaboutwhetheryouactuallywantthatkindofjobornot, andthatgetsyouclosertowhatyouwant.
Don't getyourselfwrappedupintheideaofmistakes. Youreallycan't make a mistakehereonthisplanet, becauseeverythingiseverinvolving, thereisnothingthatyoucan't change.
So, ifyoumake a decisionthatyoudecideyoudon't likedowntheroad, youcanshiftthat, thisquick. Tryingsomething, isverybeneficialforyouto findingoutwhatitisyouactuallywantanddonʼt want. Youmustallowyourselfthroughoutyourlife, toaskyourselfthequestion "Whatdo I want" andallowtheanswertochange.
So, moreexpansioncouldcomeoutofthosepeoplewholineupwithwhattheywantthanthosewhonever findoutwhattheywant. Butexpansioncomesoutoftheminevitably.
So, manyofyouknowthat I constantlytellpeoplethatthehowinthisuniverseisnotyourjob. Whenyouaregoingaboutsayingthingslike I wantlovebutlovemustcomethroughthispersonnamedBradorthispersonnamedChristine, youaredisablingtheuniversebecauseyouaretellingtheuniversehowthatthingyouwantwillcometoyou.
Whatif I wastotakethis a stepfurtherandtellyouthatevensaying I wantloveor I wantmoneyis a "how". Thereasonisthis, thereisnotonethingonthisearththatisnotdoneforthesamereasonandthatreasonis, "I wanttofeelhappy", "I wanttofeelbetter".
So, whyisitarewesoafraidofmakingthattheendgoal, thatthingwhichwearereallyaimingfor? Itisbecauseweareallprettyconvincedthatifwesay "I wanthappinessaboveallelse", theuniversewillmakeusveryveryhappybutveryverypoor, veryveryhappybutveryveryalone.
Theuniverseknowsyousomuchbetterthanthat. Thatimplies a levelofdistrustwhichisnotintandemwithalignmentofthisuniverse. Ifyousay I wanthappiness, thisuniverseknowseverysinglenecessaryconditiontobringyoutothatspace.
Now, happinesstomostofyoudoesnotlooklike "I ampoor" or "I amalone", itlookslikeabundanceand a multitudeofpeoplewhichyougetalongwith.
Whenyoumakehappinessyourgoal, youarenotlimitingtheuniverseastohowtobringthattoyou, anditwillbringittoyouin a waythatsatisfiesallkindsofthingsinyourlifewhichyouarelookingatnowandcallinghappiness.
Tosay, "All I reallywantinthislifeistobehappy", soundslike a common-senseanswer, butas a lifegoalitsortofsoundslikeitisdestinedforfailure. But I'm heretotellyoutoday, thatthisgoalisthegoalwhichwillenableallnecessaryconditionsofyourlifetofallintoplace. Thisgoalistheholygrail.
So, trythisnexttimeyou'redoingyourvisualizationsforwhatitisyoudoyouwant, insteadofvisualizinghowthosethingswillcometoyou, visualizingyourselfin a thatbighousewithtonsandtonsofmoney, visualizingwhatitwouldfeelliketohavepeopleacceptyouthewayyouare. Overtheyears, manyspiritualtraditionshavemadeanenemyofdesire. Ifyoulookattheseparticularspiritualtraditions, theywereformedincountrieswheretherewas a castesystem. Theywereformedincountrieswherewhenyouwerebornintospecific circumstances, thereisnowaytochangeyourstars.
