  • e think because of the pandemic.

  • A lot of people are really lonely, of course.

  • And websites, like only fans, offer a different kind of intimacy than just watching any sort of porn on a tube site.

  • Well, it's also kind of hot.

  • Not gonna lie like doing this.

  • Like I'm very I like people looking at me.

  • I wasn't like in a crazy financial need or something.

  • But of course there was a pandemic out there and I didn't really have, like, I couldn't go partying anymore.

  • So I had a lot of time and I was like, Okay, let's spend the Sunday somewhere doing trying to make money I started my only friends in the pandemic for money.

  • Mostly if it wasn't for the pandemic, I think I would have tried to find more photography jobs, for example, because that's also something ideo Um, but there's not really a lot of jobs like that in creative fields right now.

  • Eso Onley fans of something that I can do even when we're in lock down eso it just made sense to me.

  • E do consider myself is like a exhibitionists a little bit because I really enjoy it.

  • Um that people are looking at me or just my body.

  • I mean, it's just my body.

  • I'm just making use of it.

  • It's like a tool that I'm using.

  • I just had the idea.

  • Okay, let's make this account now and I made it because you see so many others doing it.

  • E started right when the epidemic started.

  • So I literally just started because I wanted to do something different than sitting behind a desk and doing customer service and wasting my life away for me at like a new office job.

  • And it was just kind of more like a kinky thing for me in the beginning, whereas then it turned into like, a more business state of mind later on.

  • There is definitely a clear correlation between the timing of the pandemic and the site increases that we saw WAY were on a growth path anyway, but it was definitely accelerated because of the pandemic, really, when the lock down started and when people started losing their jobs.

  • Unfortunately, there are a lot of newcomers to the industry.

  • I think it's amazing that these people that a lot of them are in precarious situations on maybe have lost their jobs, or or or uncertain of how their incomes will come, that they have the opportunity toe actually have Try this out on Bond, possibly even make a living out of something.

  • But they would maybe didn't consider before.

  • I mean, there's girls who make hundreds of thousands of dollars each month.

  • I don't on bears.

  • Also, girls who make like $50 a month like it's an incredibly diverse range.

  • I don't want to say how much I earn, but I do definitely earn uh Mawr than I used to do with my 9 to 5 job.

  • But it's not so much about the money per se.

  • It's more about like being able to structure your day in your life in the way you want Thio, because I like being my own boss.

  • E definitely feel empowered because I could make whatever sort of content I want.

  • I could make whatever I feel like doing whatever interest me.

  • I'm not having toe like listen to some producer telling me what I have to dio.

  • I get Thio, make that decision for myself, for the foreign industry has had a shift towards what they call couldn't quote amateur porn since already five years, really, people shooting themselves has become more and more trendy, and there's a bigger demand for it as well.

  • But definitely the pandemic has made this grow way bigger.

  • Hello, my name is a.

  • There's a personal connection between the customer and the provider, which is something that's never seen before.

  • Usually pouring.

  • It's like something out of reach, something that you see like these, like muscle gods or like big, beautiful like boots.

  • Women, you know that you cannot relate to in any way, whereas only fans.

  • It's like for everyone, you know, and you can find whatever you want.

  • At the same time, you can also write to the person that you are watching you know, you can kind of have a bit of a relationship with, um, it's a kind of way of killing the middle man, Um, which is interesting because it has created basically more diversity in the industry.

  • There are more body sexuality, sexual practices on preferences being represented on.

  • I think that's that's great E.

  • Occasionally I'll get, like nasty comments or Dems on Instagram, and I just, like, immediately blocked the person.

  • Um, but it doesn't really happen that often, especially here in Berlin like people are so open minded.

  • I think it is definitely difficult for people who live in more conservative conservative areas or smaller towns.

  • People could definitely be judgmental about it.

  • For me, it is really a job just like any other job, just like me going to the office.

  • But just also like a kind of prosecution, because I'm selling my body for, like, eight hours to a company and I get money for it, and if I wouldn't get the money for it, I wouldn't do it.

  • Obviously, eso this job or sex work is just the same kind off job, like I'm missing this shame kind off filter inside of me.

  • This is also why, if I'd a lot with my mother and stuff, because because of that, But I don't have that.

  • I don't feel, um, shame.

  • My family is aware of what I'm doing.

  • Uh, basically, everyone I know is aware of of what I do.

  • I don't keep it to myself at all because I'm not really interested in spending time with people if you like, really have a problem with it.

  • When I first told my mom, I think she was like, a little bit like nervous.

  • She was like, Oh, God, this is a lot.

  • But she could see that I was like happy Andi.

  • I was doing what I wanted Thio and I'm safe.

  • So she was like, All right, you know, as long as my daughter is happy like then I'm happy for her.

  • I'm already trans so I already like experience.

  • A lot of stick, man.

  • A lot of like getting my life at the same time.

  • Like I'm also confident what I'm doing and I'm comfortable what they're doing.

  • And I love my life And I love the way that my life turned out to be like I'm 24.

  • I'm financially independent.

  • I have my own business.

  • I think my taxes I'm able to do the things I want to dio and, um whether it's from porn or doing a 9 to 5 job or whatever, it doesn't matter as long as you're happy.

  • E don't wanna die one day and have to regret the things that I didn't do.

  • And this is what I was always think like I don't wanna not do something because I'm gonna be worried that I'm not gonna get a job in the future or something like that, like I want to do it.

  • And if someone in the future and employer or someone says, Oh, no, yeah, no problem with this person.

  • They have been like adult content, greater whatever.

  • Um, then that's the way it ISS.

  • I'm happy about the stuff and the experience that I've gained from what I've been doing and not from what I've not been doing.

  • Wow.

  • Yeah, I think the narrative that states that people who start only fans are victims.

  • It's really frustrating to me because people are not victimized by, like selling nude selling news can actually something really empowering.

  • I think sometimes people in these situations situations are victimized by their governments when they're not receiving government support because of the pandemic, and they don't have any income.

  • And the government is not helping them pay their rent, so they have to find a way to do it.

  • All right, this narrative about people in the adult industry always being for errors off course or, you know, all of victimized things comes from a very religious um, perspective on sex work.

  • All of us grew up with a lot of shame when it comes to sexuality, because if we have sexuality education in school, it's all about, uh, not getting pregnant on sicknesses and infections.

  • The approach of sexuality that it's positive that is focused on pleasure.

  • Uh, that is inclusive on accounts from different ways off.

  • Living out on experiencing and enjoying sexuality is still lacking in society.

  • How e.

  • Think that the fact that a lot more people are sharing their sex states and talking openly about sexuality has its empowering not only for the people doing it, but but for all of us in society.

  • I hope that the more people normalized creating explicit content, the more people talk openly about sex and on stop being scared off the representation off sex E yeah.

e think because of the pandemic.
