  • Fold in half and unfold

  • Mountain-fold the diagonal of each rectangle

  • Pleating is a nice way to fold the diagonals

  • Keep folding the diagonals

  • Next, I'll show an easier method for beginners

  • Turn over

  • Use a thin object and a ruler to mark the diagonal

  • Valley-fold (it will be a lot easier!)

  • Now back to the other method

  • Fold all the diagonals making a zig-zag pattern

  • Turn over

  • Fold each valley and mountain creases forming a circle

  • The rest of the paper will form a cylinder

  • At this point, keep doing the same but bring it to the top of previous pleats

  • Reinforce the creases

  • I like to start the next segment on the side whose edge is on top

  • Twist the model, making the valley folds (diagonals) and mountain folds

  • Inside should be a circle like on the bottom If you have a flap like this, rearrange the layers

  • Collapse the next segments similarly

  • Finished Spring!
