We have two words today that are homophones these are words that are spelled differently but pronounced exactly the same. We have the word none or nothing or not any and nun a female member of a religious community. So let's take a look at these words. We have none and nun to say these words correctly three little sounds - super quick easy lesson - touch the tip of your tongue to the back of your top front teeth for that n nnnn - to be super specific it's where your teeth meet the roof of your mouth nnnn - air moves out of your nose. Next relax your mouth and your tongue, your tongue is just going to be hanging out in the middle of your mouth for that short uh sound. And then again touch the tip of the tongue to the back of the top front teeth for the n nnnn. n-u-n none nun none nun none nun And now for a sentence: When I asked the nun how much meat do you eat on a Friday during lent she replied none.
