When you're creating it's always important, at least for us, to do your research to know where you're coming from, or to find inspiration. Fairytales are a well that any artist can always draw from because these stories have been in people's hearts for hundreds of years. The first place we start our research for many of our videos is "Grimms' Fairy Tales." These are the stories that were read to us as children and help us find the pathway from childhood to adulthood. And although the stories have been adapted or reinterpreted, they're still as captivating as the day they were written. With Audible, your next adventure into a far off land or down a yellow brick road is just a click away. All you have to do is click the link below, audible.com/pattycake, or text pattycake to 500500 for a free 30 day trial. You'll get the entire plus catalog, which includes thousands of audio books, podcasts, and originals. We get asked a lot why fairytales resonate so strongly with us. And I think the answer is simple. They give us something to hope for, something to believe in. And even though it's a naive notion, it gives us all the opportunity to believe we really can live happily ever after.
