I've taught a lot of students .

And the students that learn a lot very fast, all use these tips.

I also use them for learning Japanes.

So guys, SMASH that like button! And let's begin!

Make SMART goals and stick to them!

So what are smart goals?

S - specific

M - measurable

A - achievable

R - realistic

And T - time bound.

For example…Most people just say "Yeah, I wanna learn English”

Or… “Yeah I wanna make friends across the globe”

But these aren't SMART goals!

You should make them more detailed such as "I want to learn 5 new words everyday this month”

That's a SMART goal.

But you have to stick to them guys!

And have a reason "WHY" you want to achieve that goal.

So make SMART goals.

Watch videos everyday

This is to improve your listening.

Listening is super important guys…

If you can't catch what native speakers are saying, you won't be able to have a conversation.

So listen to English, and watch videos everyday!

Find a study buddy!

Find a study buddy and hang out with people who are also learning English.

Talking with native speakers is great, but talking with other people who are also learning the language is really good too.

You can share tips with each other, share your study methods.

You can also practice speaking even if you're not fluent yet.

Because you're both still studying, you're going to feel more comfortable.

You can relate to one another.

And you can motivate each other.

You'll be like Goku and Vegeta,

Rocky and Apollo.

Ok, train together, learn together, and grow as a person together.

So find a study buddy!!!

Turn studying into a game!

Let's face it… studying can be very boring sometimes.

And when you're bored, you don't learn anything.

But games are fun. We can play games all day without getting bored.

So, let's turn "studying" into a "game".

What do games have? They have challenges, levels and rewards…

So challenge yourself…

As well as a "To Do" list... have a "Daily Challenge".

And if you complete it ... you get a reward.

That's going to turn studying into a game.

And you're going to want to study more...

Keep an English book next to your bed.

If you keep the book right next to your bed, you will end up reading it more often.

Just say you're having trouble sleeping one night…

Instead of looking at your phone, read a couple pages of the book.

I recommend short stories, children's books or novels depending on your level.

So try it out, put an English book next to your bed

and make it a habit to read a couple pages every night before sleeping.
