Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles I have an interesting moral dilemma for you. Would you rather save 100 dogs at the cost of one human life or save one human life at the cost of 100 dogs? Because research has found that different age groups actually answer this question very differently. So for adults, the majority choose to save one human life over 100 dogs. But for kids between the age of 5-9, in particular, the vast majority choose to save 100 dogs over one human life. In fact, even when asked what about one dog versus one human life, a significant proportion will still choose one dog to save over one human. And it brings up a really interesting question around when we develop this idea that humans are morally superior or more important. And it also suggests to me that I haven't developed that yet because I'm choosing the dogs.
