Genshin Impact is a free-to-play

action-adventure game with RPG elements.

It's available on PS4, PS5,

PC, Android, and iOS.

You start the game as a mysterious traveler

who is searching for their lost twin in the world of Teyvat.

Players will begin exploring Teyvat

with a starter character

along with their companion, Paimon.

However, the storyline quickly takes a step back

for the real draw of the game,

its large and explorable open world.

With a diverse array of playable characters

that can be unlocked as you play,

the open world has many dungeons,

resources, and more to discover.

Much of what you find, such as fruits and food,

can be used in Genshin's cooking and crafting system.

Genshin Impact has a unique element system

that lets you not only creatively fight enemies

but also interact with the world.

For example, using fire and wind together

can create a fire tornado that does extra damage to enemies.

In addition, using an ice move over water

will allow you to walk on lakes,

allowing you to reach new areas.

Genshin Impact also allows players to unlock characters,

weapons, and/or resources with in-game or real currency.

Participation in this system is voluntary

and is not necessary to continue progression in the game.

Genshin Impact is primarily a single-player game,

but multiplayer does become an option

once players reach adventurer rank 16 in-game.
