The easiest way to get your money back
on a completed transaction is to contact
the recipient of your payment and ask for a refund.
To process a refund,
the recipient will need to tap on the activity tab
on their home screen and select the transaction.
They should tap on the three-dots icon
and select "Refund."
Then they should tap "OK" to confirm,
and you'll receive the money back in your Cash App account.
If your payment is still pending,
you can still cancel your payment
by tapping on the transaction.
Tap the three dots and then "Cancel Payment."
If this option isn't available to you,
wait for the transaction to be completed
to ask for your refund.
If the transaction has already been completed,
you can reach out to Cash App to file a dispute.
Tap on the activity tab on your Cash App home screen,
select the transaction you'd like to dispute,
and then tap on the three dots in the top right corner.
Now select "Report an Issue."
Select the option that best describes your issue
and then tap "Next."
The Cash App team will review your case
and contact the recipient to ask them
for a refund if relevant,
or they may be able to file a dispute with the card network.
They'll send you updates on the investigation
and after reviewing the case
will notify you of their final decision.
