Oh my goodness! Whoa! Where you going Anna? Careful Anna! Oh is that Becca! Oh Becca! Do you think we're moving or the net? No, we're staying still. Whoa, some little kid is not enjoying it. [kid crying] Whoa, climb out. Climb out, Sarah. The rooms are all connected by large hallways, but as we would soon find out, they don't keep the same appearance. That's interesting, it almost looks like Kanji. Some Kanji strokes, huh? Don't fall! Catch it! Catch it! Oh, what what what? Whoa! Anna found a secret room? Whoa! Oh, a secret stairway up Whoa! Cool, it's like an observation deck Look down Oh that's cool because we were right down there, weren't we? Very cool. Oh, like little frogs. Oh, here was the room that we were just above and now we can see it Whoa, look that's a mirror way over there! The main room in the middle is massive and multi-faceted, giving you lots of different scenes to enjoy. But the best discoveries lie off of this room behind dark curtains you almost have to stumble across to find. Look- Mommy spotted what we think is a special room. Let's go in. Let's see, let's see! Whoa! Whoa! Oh my goodness! Whoa! Look at this, guys! Whoa! Whoa, look at the floor! Dude, how about that? There's Momma-chan, hi Momma-chan! Let's all look here and I'll take a picture! Look at here guys! 1, 2, 3 Wow! Oh my goodness! This is psychedelic! Wow That's almost worth staying in. With so many rooms and constantly changing art, it's easily to get disoriented. This is very cool. You have to watch your step. Watch your step Dude. Ohh Whoa, that looks massive. So there's mirrors all over. OK you have to go around it. You have to find your way through it. OK, right here. It was quite a sensation, trying to figure out where to go and from where you came. More than once we got turned around and lost sense of direction! OK, it's the other side then. We get so lost in here! You do get so lost in here, don't you? It changes every time. Forest of Resonating Lamps My goodness! Oh, this is going to be cool to try. It's like Rapunzel. Whoa! Here, let's get a picture. I want to get a picture with all of us! OK right there, smile. Joshua, look at Mommy. Don't touch it. 1, 2, 3 It got all blue, didn't it? That is so cool. You know what, you could easily got lost in here, huh? Joshua, look at mommy. There's where they just closed the door. Would you be able to know which way is out? 1, 2, 3 Don't run into them. Yeah, go around them! Go under them. Go around them! The exit, oh here it is! Whoa! Thank you! A dark chasm. Oh, you've gotta go this way. It's like a rest room, huh? With lots and lots of waves. Lots and lots of waves. This is really wild, isn't it? My goodness. OK let's go this way. Where's Sarah?! Right here. Sarah Bear, we didn't lose you — good! Oh my goodness! Oh it goes up if you go this way. How cool is that?! Oh my goodness! These are like drums. Yea, they are! There's Anna-cakes! Here they come! This is a fun little forest. Light Sculpture Space Oh my freaky freaky! It's like a rock concert It stinks. It stinks? That's the smoke you're smelling. It is like a rock concert! There were so many rooms to see that we moved quickly from one to the next, but you got the impression that you could stay a long time in any given room and not see the same thing. All the exploration had made us hungry, so we found a room to have some lunch. So, what was your favorite part so far, Joshua? The movie. The movie? What's the movie? The one where we laid on the net? Yea. I have a favorite. It was that one room with all the lights that hung down. Like the Rapunzel place? Yea-no. That was cool That was really cool. But my favorite were those other ones that looked like rain. After lunch some of Ruth's family met up with us and we explored the second floor, where Teamlabs started to show off just how cool it really could be. It's a giant slide. Whoa! Anna went cruising! Whoa Whoa, Joshua what a start! Look at your shirt! Climbing, climbing through the clouds, are you almost ready Sarah? Oh, and here's Anna coming through. Whoa Sarah! There you go. The first floor was a lot of fun, but the kids especially loved the second floor, full of activities for kids their age. Anna Cakes! Sitting in a tree-house, it looks like. And there's Becca And here's Sarah and Sophia working their way through here, whoa! Dude, you made it to the end! Way to go! Good job! I made it! Yeah, alright! There were all kinds of fun, trippy experiences to be had on the second floor! There goes Becca. No problem, huh? Whoa Joshua, so fast! Here we go. Oo. Oo, tricky tricky tricky. I couldn't let the kids have all the fun themselves — I had to try it for myself! I'm just a big kid at heart! A room full of eggs! Oh my goodness, this is weird! I saw some kids Oh! Hey Dude. Whoa! Uh oh! The second floor had a room with interactive wall art. It was kind of like being in a video game! If you move the stuff than all the people try to run on it? Oh that's cool! Look at that! And they work their way out of it. Look at that, that's cool! Becca caught a ton of elves, huh? But the kids' favorite station of all was at the end. I want to draw a picture of a lizard. A lizard? There's a lizard, right down there Sarah. You could make your own art and add it into the digital world. Looks like they have flowers and frogs and all kinds of stuff, huh? Alright, Sarah's getting started on her lizard! Anna's doing a mega-psychedelic frog! It's the Life in Japan lizard, huh? Once you choose an option and color it, it is scanned into the computer where it is brought to digital life and enters the virtual world. Here we go Joshua, it's going to scan it in! OK there you go, now you got to go find it! Ok! Oh there it is! Oh! Oh Dude! Oh my goodness! How cool is that? It's just like that, isn't it?! Did you give him a name? Yea. It is Kawa. Kawa? Like River? That's cool. Here goes Anna's! Oh! Oh there goes your frog! It's fast, Anna! Where'd it go? I don't know. Oh, look at that! Oh, so cute! Oh found it, Anna! Anna's frog. There it is! We found it! Oh you stepped on it! Oh you found it! Becca even brought her own personalized flower to life. Flowers this time — some petals, nice. Yeah, mine is everywhere! Teamlabs Borderless was a great experience that took us several hours to go through. If you want to experience it for yourself, you better hurry, as it is closing for good at the end of this summer!
