Peter and Alice are discussing the story of the Little Shepherd Boy.
Peter: The boy is not smart at all!
Alice: Why do you say so?
Peter: I think he’s only avoiding answering the questions.
Alice: But I think he is really smart to answer the questions with metaphors.
Peter: No way. He doesn’t know the answers at all.
I’d say the king is stupid enough to be fooled.
Alice: No, he truly understands the boy’s answers.
Peter: I still don’t agree with you.
Alice: Listen, Peter.
The king understands the hugeness of the ocean,
the sky, and eternity through the boy’s metaphors.
That’s why he says the boy is wise.
Peter: Really? I still doubt it ….
Alice: Ha! It seems that the king is smarter than you.
