Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles Welcome to just speak, the learning tool that helps you speak better English by actually giving you speaking practice! I'm going to ask you a load of questions, okay? and they're all today about “Future” you are going to have 5 seconds to respond in your car maybe at home holding your phone respond to my questions then I will ask you another question Simple! Episode 1 was “Habit” things that you do regularly, okay? Then, last week we looked at “Now” things you are doing now today we are going to look at “Future” things you are going to do in the future again, all of these basic tenses in English have a keyword that is IN the question listen for the keyword think “Future” and respond using that grammar for “Future”, that keyword is “BE GOING TO” + verb it helps to remember it like a rhythm “BE GOING TO” + verb “BE GOING TO” + verb many people studying English use “will” too much, “will” is “future” but often sounds a little bit strange “BE GOING TO” + verb is “future” and almost never sounds strange so please, forget “will” use “BE GOING TO” + verb so, of course, we need to start with a "person" ”I”, ”you”, ”we”, ”they”, or ”he” and ”she” after that you need your “BE GOING TO” + verb and then you need an object an noun or an adjective and then you need “time”. For example, I AM GOING TO watch T.V. tonight You ARE GOING TO study English tonight She IS GOING TO shop tomorrow if you're watching with subtitles, great, but please, please, please turn them off now! this is a speaking test, not a reading test please turn off subtitles now!
