You may think it's weird, but it's not unusual for people to start liking their friends.

You became friends because you liked something about the other.

And those feelings can sometimes cross the line between friendship and romantic love.

Here are six signs your friend actually wishes to be your lover.

Number one, they wanna be near you all the time.

When you hang out in a group,

do they pull you aside to talk, sit next to you every time or walk next to you only?

Or do they try to find ways to hang out with you without the group?

Spending time with someone you like quickly becomes a priority.

You always wanna be near them.

Even sitting in silence is exciting if your crush is next to you.

If your friend is trying to spend more than usual time with you as much as they can,

it could mean they wanna be more than friends.

Maybe they also text you more than they text others

and they don't seem as interested in them as they are in you.

And they might seem a bit jealous when you have plans with someone else.

Number two, they want to take pictures together.

Do they constantly take out their phone to take a selfie with you?

When they wanna create a deeper connection with you,

they won't seem to care about groupfies much.

Their phone gallery might be full of pictures of just the two of you.

Do they blow off everything just to spend time with you?

Are they willing to get halfway across town just to meet you for a quick coffee?

When somebody has deeper feelings for you,

They listen more closely to what you are saying in order to understand you better.

They change the topic or act nervous when someone asks about love.

It's quite possible that they don't have the courage to be open about their feelings towards you.

So, they would rather stay in their little bubble, hoping you'll notice their affection.

Love is complicated.

You can never know for real what makes a person's heart beat faster.

Try hanging out with them as you always did.
