  • Alright guys, welcome back and we have the new horror stuff finally in the game.

  • A lot of people were waiting for this Amceti, the Sarcophagus and also the other guys that you can summon.

  • And then obviously X is a very strong rank XYZ-8 engine with that you have in your extra deck here.

  • I want to show you two decklists that I think are some of the best ones if you want to play pure horrors.

  • Obviously there are different variants that you can play.

  • There is Horrorist Orcust, there is Horrors with the Naturia stuff, you can also play Horrors with Phantom Knights, you can play Horrors I think kind of with the Punk stuff.

  • But if you really want to play a pure variant where the main engine that you are using is Horrors then I think some version of Horrors Stun is what you want to play because these cards are very great at controlling the game state and obviously they represent a lot of you over time.

  • So on your turn and also on your opponent's turn if you're not aware I think the Canopic Protector is very nice.

  • The Continuous Trap which basically the Sarcophagus gives you the ability to summon every Horrors monster once on your turn and then if they are in the grave because you have used them for some of the XYZ material stuff here then you can also use the Canopic Protector once per chain when your opponent activates a card effect.

  • You can special summon one Horrors monster from your hand or graveyard.

  • By the way also from the hand which is quite nice.

  • But for the rest of this turn you can add special summon monsters with the same name.

  • Doesn't really matter because you do it on your opponent's turn most likely giving you the ability to get all of your four Horrors monsters back and this is very strong because as you remember if any card leaves the field then the effects will trigger.

  • This will be able to send one card on the field to the graveyard if something leaves the field.

  • This one is able to draw as many cards as you have different names in your main monster zone which will most likely be four at this point.

  • Then you have your Happy which can target two cards that are banished or in either or in the graveyards.

  • Either graveyards add both to the hand or shuffle both into the deck which is awesome because it can get you back resources but you can also shuffle stuff from your opponent's graveyard back into his deck like Snake Eye stuff, T-Lemon stuff, whatever stuff that he wants to have in the graveyard and then this one protects all the other Horrors monsters from being targeted and with card effect and for attacks basically.

  • So this is what is really nice about the trap in my opinion and you want to use this engine here together with some floodgates in order to stop your opponent and create advantage over time.

  • I will show you another variant in a moment where there is a heavier Kushtira engine in there.

  • Other cards that you could also decide to play here is a very prominent TCG tech, Deck Lockdown.

  • Obviously all the floodgates, keep this in mind, are good when you go first and not that useful if you go second.

  • If you go second then you would just go and discard your floodgates for the King Sarcophagus to get your Horrors monsters into the grave to get back control over the game state.

  • Obviously this is better going first, Deck Lockdown for example, neither player can add cards from the deck to their hand except by drawing them.

  • This holds for two turns which is quite nice, it stops Snake Eyes, it stops a lot of decks.

  • This is basically a continuous draw in Lockbird.

  • For you it's not that problematic because you can use your Sarcophagus that you normally have already established before and then just revive all your guys from the grave, getting you more advantage through your XYZ package here.

  • You can also use your Sarcophagus to dump stuff into the graveyard which is also not affected by the Deck Lockdown.

  • Also a cool thing that you could put in your eye for example, I have put in a Skill Drain.

  • Obviously Skill Drain you have big monsters with high attack points here that obviously want their effects but then again they don't really care if they don't have their effects and you can resummon them all the time so even if your opponent is able to battle over a Zemceti with 3000 attack then that's no problem because you can just get it back with the Canopic or with the King Sarcophagus or with the Field Spell.

  • So yeah.

  • Then we have Summon Limit, also very nice obviously against Snake Eyes.

  • Also a bit bad you could say against yourself but I think it's okay because if your opponent is only able to for example summon very weak Snake Eyes monsters or whatever you can also really hinder your Branded Despair opponent from playing the game by doing this here and then you can bring back your big bodies here then you will be in a good position and then we have obviously stuff that helps us going second here with Forbidden Droplets, Super Polis, the Targets are here and the extra deck Nips and stuff and the Tactics.

  • Obviously we are playing Maxx C because it's just such a good card and then two very interesting monsters here because in this deck if you have not figured it out at this point we don't really have a normal summon, right?

  • We have the Castira monsters here and we have the Horus monsters which none of them want to be normal summoned but we have Majesty's Fiend and Vanity's Ruler which, oh now that I see it, this is not the monster that should be in there, wait a second, there should be the Super Rare monster in there.

  • Okay, okay, I will show you this in the other decklist, it's in the other decklist but you have this one, Majesty's Fiend, you can just normal summon it by attributing one monster and then neither player can activate monster effects so this is another lock that is very very strong.

  • I will quickly go over and show you the other decklist but before we can quickly talk over some of the extra deck monsters, ones that are really nice, you can see that I have put some of the rank 7 exposes in here because of Castira and then there are nice level 8 exposes that you can make, this Spell Negate here that can also attach stuff, then you have the Coach King Giant Trainer which you can make with up to 3 level 8 monsters and you can draw 3 cards so you can dump cards to the graveyard with the Sarcophagus and then you have a low hand count and then you can, with 3 of these bodies, make a Coach King Giant Trainer and then draw 3 cards which is quite amazing.

  • You obviously have one of the best ones, the number 90 Galaxy Eyes Photon Lord which is a monster negate, then you have Dingursu which you can use to destroy something, you have Zombie Vampire which is definitely a card that you want to go in first with your Horus monsters I think, in an optimal turn you would be able to go into a Zombie Vampire and then give you more Horus cards to the graveyard that you can then reborn but also will be able to resummon a body either from your graveyard or from your opponent's graveyard that has been dumped with the Zombie Vampire so this gives you a lot of pluses, a very important card that you can then obviously also overlay into a Zeus if you attack with this, you see the point.

  • So it's all about stopping your opponent, slowing down your opponent and then winning with this enormously strong recycling engine that is Horus basically.

  • If your opponent cannot get rid of your King Sarcophagus or your Wards of the Imperial Tomb, basically King Sarcophagus as a field spell, though the King Sarcophagus is better than is the field spell but the field spell is also named King Sarcophagus so as long as you have the Horus monster in your graveyard you can resummon them via the field spell, via the King Sarcophagus so it's just crazy.

  • Let me hop over and show you a Kastira heavier version that you can also go play if you want to and there we also have the other card that I wanted to show you, oh no this was this one, sorry this is the right one.

  • So the other card that you also have in here is the Vanity's Fiend.

  • Cannot be special summoned, neither player can special summon monsters.

  • In my opinion this might even be the better one of these two but it doesn't really matter because this is really nice now you have six normal summons basically that you can use so for example you might be able to go into your Zombie Vampire with two of your Horus monsters and then you might have one Horus monster left that you have dumped.

  • In this case you could just normal summon, tribute, a Vanity's Fiend or a Majesty's Fiend depending on what you have in your hand and if you're going second then obviously these guys can be great but might not be that great depending on what your opponent has on its board.

  • Obviously if you can establish them, let's say your opponent has a lot of effects ready that wants to negate you and you are able to just resummon one of your Horus guys from Majesty's Fiend then your opponent is not able to activate any effects neither the hand traps from his hand nor the cards on his field nor the cards in his graveyard for example Promethean Princess or something and the cool thing is that if for example you already have your King's Sarcophagus up and you have a Horus card in the grave then you are also activating nothing so your opponent can't even hand trap you because you are not performing any action that can be negated because the summon from the Horus guys from the graveyard if you do not know that is inherent which means this is not an effect it's not like I activate the effect of Imseti to summon himself he can just summon like Kashira Fenrir or Kashira Unicorn can just summon or like you can just summon from the extra deck this just happens right and then you can just normal summon which a normal summon is also not something or a tribute summon in this case a tribute normal summon is also not really something that your opponent can do something about and then you just have the guy on the field and yeah your opponent can then not activate anything or cannot special summon something I guess this one is better when you go first lock your opponent and this one is better when going second into a board because then your opponent can activate monster effects in this variant we are playing a bigger Kashira engine with two buffs and two Unicorns but in this case there are no rank sevens in here you could definitely put rank sevens in here you also have the skill package with the seven sins and pain gainer but this plays also excellent synchro and barrier and flirt package because we are playing gammas and drivers if you're not aware of this if you activate these on your turn and you get these down to your field this is a level 8 synchro getting you into exile synchro status dragon which can then revive the gamma and then you can go into a baron for free on your turn that's quite nice in comparison to the other list of nothing too special here we have solemn strikes and solemn judgments in here obviously you could also go ahead put super police in here put evening matches in here this really depends on how you want to play this obviously this is better going first and putting in evening matches for example would be better going second but a stun version would look something like this list or the list I showed you before we are talking the pure version right whenever you mix this with another engine it is no really longer stun because this together with orchest engine is not really stunned this together with the punk engine isn't really stunning this together with also for example mix this with photon lord because obviously we are already seeing the photon lord here which is also not really a stun deck so pure horrors unfortunately in my opinion if you want to play it like really effectively or at the most effective point that it can be played it is a stun deck actually and this is what the list could look like if you want to play it like this I think if you want to play the pure version or if you want to play any like very horrors intense version of this deck you need 3 sarcophagus otherwise keep in mind that the base package that you want is 1 happy 3 amseti and 1 sarcophagus which will be enough to splash this as a side engine into any deck but if you want to be or if you want this engine to have a higher impact in the deck that you are playing then you definitely want to go for 3 sarcophagus so keep this in mind guys let me know in the comments what you think of this decklist how are you playing your horrors cards let me know in the comments if you like my videos please consider subscribing hitting the thumbs up and the notification bell nice to have you here and we will see each other in the next one
