  • I'm sorry, hello?

  • What just happened?

  • How did we get here?

  • So the goal of gravity is to secure winds by safely landing in the water at the bottom.

  • But not anymore!

  • People have discovered you can actually complete the maps without touching the water, and with 27 gravity maps in total, and a community like Hive, good routes have been found, but also routes that are just mind-blowing.

  • So people have discovered you can actually complete the maps without touching the water as long as you go through the portal.

  • There's a handful of maps you can do this with, but I'll start with the most notable one, Triangles.

  • On Triangles, you can fall perfectly into the portal, and it's actually quite easy compared to the others you can do this on.

  • Triangles has somewhat a straight path down with only needing to move left and right, but instead at the end, you start going forwards into the portal at the perfect time.

  • The reason this is possible is because of how open the portal is compared to other maps.

  • Let's talk about Road Trip.

  • On Road Trip, you can also fall straight into the portal, but it's way more difficult and you have to be frame perfect because the portal is less in the open.

  • Same with Clockworth.

  • This one you don't even need to be sprinting for it, you just have to go on a separate route going through a 1 by 1 hole through these clocks.

  • You can also do the same thing on Geometric, but this one is by far the hardest as you have to stay very close to the center near the end, so you can even get close to pulling this off.

  • The way this map is made is that there's squares and rocks at the middle, so you jump away from it, but then you have to come back somewhat closer to center near the end.

  • Before we talk about whatever is happening in the intro, you can actually survive while hitting the ground, or at least it looks like it.

  • In vanilla Minecraft, if you fall just right between the water and the block, you can instantly get out of the water by walking.

  • You see, the game thinks you're actually falling in the water, but you're on the ground.

  • This can be done on practically every map, and it makes maps like Beanstalk and Data substantially quicker to beat as the portal is right there, instead of swimming up which takes about a second.

  • Now let's talk about the one in the intro.

  • On Circuit Board, I'm seemingly hitting the ground and jumping into the portal, completely skipping the water.

  • We saw portal skips earlier, but you fall into the portal frame perfect.

  • So how is this possible?

  • Am I hacking?

  • I literally landed on solid ground and jumped into the portal.

  • This doesn't even make sense in the slightest.

  • Well, it's complex.

  • You see, I'm not actually hitting the stone.

  • I'm jumping off of seemingly nothing into the portal.

  • For other players, it's more obvious.

  • In Gravity, there's a glitch where if you fall on a slab or a stair in a specific way while holding jump, you jump on an invisible platform, and then you can go into the portal from that.

  • You have to quickly get through the portal or else the game actually recognizes that you've touched the ground and then you die.

  • This glitch happens to me when I'm not even trying to do the glitch, and well, people just use this glitch and landing into the portal to their advantage.

  • Falling directly into the portal instead of the water is allowed by them as seen from the screenshot, and honestly, I don't think they should remove this.

  • The invisible platform glitch will probably get fixed, which will make the circuit board route no longer possible, but it's still a speed-runnable map as you can still go this route and land in the water at the side.

  • Now I like to call all of these bizarre routes swag routes.

  • The term swag route was popularized by Geometry Dash, and it refers to an alternate path in the level that's difficult, hidden, and definitely not intended for the normal player to do.

  • This style of completing the level is usually seen as impressive and creative, so that's why it's called that.

  • Yeah, I think rendering the main point of gravity, which is to land in the water, as non-existent is crazy.

  • Although there's no way that people are actually using this in real games, right?

  • Right?

  • Alright, let's see what this guy gots.

  • Huh?

  • What?

  • I'm sorry?

  • Huh?

  • That was faster than the-

  • Wha- I'm sorry, the way the guy just got out the water-

  • Wait, this guy's a controller, wait, there's no way-

  • Wha- What?

  • Okay, there's no way, there's actually no shot.

  • There's no way he's gonna do this in a public ga-

  • What?!

  • But there's- No, he did not do that!

  • Okay, I like how the video's in a different language, that's kinda funny.
