June 1st. I kept forgetting that it was a weekend and I was in bed and I was like, oh I have to get up

I have no need to get out of bed and stop scrolling on TikTok right now

Like there was no reason. So then I was in bed till 10 and here we are now a nice 1030 a.m. Coffee. I'm taking it nice and slow this morning

I'm gonna read my book because I've really barely read that thing. Every time I've told you guys lately that I was, you know

I'm gonna go read. I did not read. I scrolled on TikTok. It's an addiction. It's an addiction

What can I say, but I think I'm gonna try and read outside this morning for the next 30 minutes and then I gotta get myself ready this weekend. We got double brunch

We got brunch today brunch tomorrow, and that's it chill nights at home with me myself and I well

I could make plans tonight because you know Saturday night. I'm not gonna because I'm gonna have a crazy weekend

I leave on Thursday for Jill's Bachelorette. Actually when this goes live, we're there

So I guess I can tell you where we're going. The girls are going to Mexico. We're going to Tulum

It's gonna be so fun. We have a full itinerary. I actually worked with I'll tell you guys more about this in the next vlog

But I work with a company to help coordinate and plan her bachelorette and just make everything a little bit more seamless

We got the fat heads. We got printed itineraries have balloons. We have boat we have it's just gonna be so fun

It's gonna be the perfect weekend. I'm so excited

I really hope it goes as smoothly as I'm hoping me Jill and her other bridesmaid Kelly have been you know working on this for a while, so it's

Just the best. Anyways, we're gonna get ready to brunch. Today's brunch is with Leandra and Adrian my friends from high school

Leandra I've known since I was four years old. Like she's my oldest friend haven't seen them since her baby shower

So I'm really excited to see where she's at. See her bump the whole thing also bought a ton of stuff for her little baby

So I'm gonna give that to her today. So crazy to me that she's having a baby

I mean I was at her wedding last year that wasn't as crazy to me

Like that was just a beautiful time but to see her become a mother that's crazy

Like we were little babies together, obviously, it's so exciting though, but it really is crazy to be at this stage in life

It's actually really crazy

I feel like I had a lot of single girlfriends up until literally January of this year and then everyone got into relationships like

Everyone literally within a three-month span. We were all in relationships

It was the craziest thing to watch and we were all like how the heck did this happen?

Things can change so fast like I remember talking about when we were all in Disney together

You know the concept of everyone having boyfriends and just like how how weird that would be and then we believe to get to really cool

Though that it happened for all of us at the same time so we can all be like giddy and stupid together

It was all this to say that

It is just crazy to be in your late 20s and see how quickly things can happen

Friends having babies friends getting engaged friends getting married friends running marathons

I always see those tick tocks being like you're either getting married or you're running marathons and

It feels very accurate

What has happened in your friend groups in your late 20s or mid 20s and like if the same thing has happened for you?

Where it kind of all happened at once I think that's the craziest part because you can't really plan that anyways

I'm so excited to see the girls truly so much to discuss Adrienne's getting married later this year

So that's gonna be really fun. Her wedding is in Austin, Texas

So I'm really looking forward to it lots of weddings this year. Like I think there's there's three right now

Like the food was delicious to have this pita with eggplant and bell peppers and it was so delicious

We also got bubble ganoush and these like crispy potatoes and then after lunch

I actually walked back with Leandra to her place. It was a good 30-minute walk. It's a beautiful day

So I've got some steps in feels good but always so nice seeing them and spending time with them catching up hearing all about their lives and

All the good things in them. It's also crazy to see Leandra just like genuinely bumping like round belly she looks so beautiful and

It's just so nice. So we're home

Try to like actually read outside like have a little bubbly bring it outside in the back

Because I have not dented it even at all and I would like to like I actually

Think it'd be a wonderful rest of my Saturday to sit and read versus sit and scroll on tick-tock

But I'm just like really in the tick-tock grind right now and it's not right

So we're gonna get a bubbly. We're gonna set outside. We're doing it

Wonderful Saturday and now it's time for dinner. I think I'm gonna have the leftover meatballs from the other night

I've just been trying to decide what to have with them. I think I'm just gonna do a pasta. You got meatballs

I'm also gonna try to make more sauce. So some sauce on here. So we're just gonna see what we can do

Now the question is what kind of pasta do I want to have you got some options?

Maybe I just finished the penne that I have. I don't have a lot left

I also got this from Trader Joe's. These are really great noodles, but I'm thinking I may as well just finish my penne

Done cooking the pasta threw in the meatballs with all the sauce and I also added a little bit extra

Cream and a splash of chicken broth just to you know add more sauce here and I think I'm going to bring it all together with a little bit of

Parmesan cheese

It's gonna let the meatballs warm back up but it's looking pretty good I'm excited

Because why not it's a Saturday night we're adding a little a little cheesy garnish

I'm so excited. I get to eat this again. I don't think it's gonna be as good as you know

It is 1030 I just got myself dressed. I've been lying in bed all morning. It's raining. It's dark

It's time to get myself ready for brunch with Maddie

I'm so excited to see her cuz it's been just too long

But she actually just left the workout class and she's not going home to change and get ready

So I'm not gonna put on a whole face of makeup and instead I'm just gonna do I think just skincare for this brunch

It's actually been such a nice weekend and I kind of love that it's raining out right now

So now we're chillin, but this sauce it's called lost in the sauce

Obviously I was sampling them and there was like a three four thirty deal

I figured you know what I should get some local hot sauce

So you guys know I love me my chili and crunch from Trader Joe's and I've yet to find a chili crisp that I like

As much but trying this I was like, oh, this is actually very good

So now I have this new chili on the crunch this super magic taste and their peanut sauce was also delicious perfect for spring roll summer season or like a peanut noodle

Lots of opportunity and then the hot sauce that I tried that I might actually give to my dad for Father's Day because he is a hot

Sauce guy, that's my little haul. I was reading my book in the car and I'm getting really into it like Nesta finally fine

That's not my purse finally started training with Cassian and so it's getting good

So I think I'm gonna just lounge the rest of the day. I will cook something fun for dinner tonight

I don't know what yet but for the foreseeable future. I'll be parked on the couch reading
