We've just run into a bit of a roadblock.

There's like some steam coming out.

I did think that looked weird at the time, but I asked the guy and he's like, yeah, it's fine.

So what you're witnessing here behind us is a specialized excavator.

Apparently our house is going to be built on just a solid rock.

It's just one big rock.

I guess it's really expensive to be built upon a strong foundation.

You see all this rock in the corner and this specialized excavator is going to knock it all out.

Right now we're just cleaning this wall up and digging your porch.

And then we're emptying out that back corner.

It takes really long because of this rock, man.

There's just rock everywhere.

And the rain descended and the floods came and the winds blew and beat upon the house and it fell not for it was founded upon a rock.

So even though it's gonna cost a lot more to build our house on a rock,

I think it's probably worth it in the end.

We're about $10,000 over budget, but that's okay because we are built upon a rock.
