  • Today I'm going to be flying the world's longest flight from NYC to Singapore in Singapore Airlines' business class.

  • I will be traveling to the other side of the planet and will take approximately 19 hours.

  • I'm not gonna lie, I am a little bit nervous for it.

  • Luckily, Singapore Airlines is a premier airline with plenty of incredible amenities, but also I will be using my Oppo Find N5.

  • This phone has an ultra-long battery life and excited to put it to the test to see how it lasts during this 19-hour adventure.

  • So within the next hour, I'm going to be leaving to go on the world's longest flight.

  • So right now I am just trying to do everything I can to be both mentally and physically prepared.

  • We have our noise-canceling headphones, candy, deodorant since I'm not going to be showering for about 24 hours, Rubik's Cube, and the Oppo Find N5.

  • So Oppo just sent me their newest phone and not only can this phone be charged fully in 50 minutes, which is great since I do have to leave in an hour, but it can also last for up to 25 hours of continuous video streaming all on one charge.

  • So I am very excited to bring this thing along with me and let this adventure begin.

  • So I just made it here to JFK where we are essentially going to be traveling into the future.

  • Since today is January 29th and we are going to be landing on January 31st.

  • So January 30th was just obsolete.

  • Also this flight is so long that they do not even offer an economy seat.

  • There is premium economy and also business class, which is exactly what we're flying today.

  • So this is going to be our home for the next 19 hours.

  • So let's go check it out.

  • So the seat itself was spacious, probably the widest airplane seat I've ever had.

  • It's kind of reminded me of one of those recliner chairs that every grandpa has.

  • Legroom was solid and even had space below for shoes.

  • Now the screen is big, but was pretty annoying that it wasn't touchscreen.

  • Then they had a bunch of these compartments to put any gadgets and gizmos and even a secret mirror.

  • More space over here that I'm guessing is for your legs.

  • Here was mission control where you can recline the seats.

  • Then they had their tray table pop out, which was a good size.

  • Also some massive headphones and some fine H2O.

  • There were plenty of lights and an outlet.

  • And they even gave you some socks, eye mask, slippers, and this cool amenities kit filled with creams.

  • So you don't smell too bad if you're not showering for a day.

  • So we are now about to take off.

  • We have the OPPO phone to 100%.

  • And for funsies, figured we are going to time this flight and see how long the world's longest flight actually is.

  • Starting right now.

  • Let the adventure begin.

  • So I spent hour one listening to some music, trying to relax and get settled in to my home for the next day.

  • So we are now officially one hour in and the OPPO Find N5 is currently at 99%.

  • And as someone who is a frequent flyer like myself and relies on intensive phone usage, it is really interesting to see how long the flight actually is.

  • How well this phone is holding up.

  • Already one hour.

  • Curious to see how it does for the rest of this flight.

  • I just realized something.

  • We are going to be eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

  • And I think the second breakfast all on this one flight.

  • If you don't like airplane food, this flight might not be for you.

  • It's a 19 hour flight.

  • Might as well get a little tipsy.

  • So we are now on hour three and I am enjoying myself.

  • Like right now, I am enjoying some dinner with a movie.

  • Luckily, the OPPO Find N5 is a flip out phone where I downloaded a bunch of shows and movies that I am now able to watch.

  • And on this massive foldable screen.

  • I am currently watching Suits for the first time.

  • Pretty great show so far.

  • So I was very shocked with how good the food was on this flight.

  • Qatar Airways still takes the cake for me personally with the best food.

  • But this gave it a run for its money.

  • The wine was also delicious.

  • They even had this delicious dessert.

  • And then got all tucked in since it was time for bed.

  • So we now have three hours down, 16 to go.

  • And I figured now would be a perfect opportunity to try and sleep as much as possible.

  • And the OPPO Find N5, for being on for three hours of watching plenty of Netflix, being on social media apps, even listening to music, we still have 90% battery.

  • But my battery is at nearly empty.

  • So I am going to sleep.

  • Try and get comfortable with this bed.

  • Since you kind of have this mandatory position that you need to be in where you are big spooning this armrest.

  • Besides that, it's very comfortable.

  • And they even give you three pillows.

  • So after sleeping for about six hours, we are now officially 10 hours and 22 minutes in.

  • Which is still pretty mind-blowing to me, since it felt like I got a full night's sleep and that it would soon be time to land.

  • But no, no, no.

  • We still have nine more hours to go.

  • It's kind of scary because I am not tired at all.

  • So we are just going to be straight up raw dogging it for the rest of this trip.

  • Also very impressed that the OPPO Find N5 is currently at 77% still.

  • It's also listening to some music on Spotify while I was going.

  • So really cool that the phone can get so much use and the battery be so efficient.

  • Also, we are currently flying somewhere over Iran and this is absolutely stunning.

  • So now we have just moved on to our second meal, which I believe is another dinner and it's quite good.

  • I went with the Moroccan lamb chops, which also came with potatoes, some vegetables, and some carrots.

  • Not bad for 35,000 feet up in the air.

  • So come hour 12, I was starting to lose it a little bit.

  • I watched a couple more hours of Netflix, tried to sleep, which was a failure, then listened to an audio book called Start With Why.

  • Highly recommend, by the way.

  • Did some scrolling on Instagram and some dating apps and then spent about two hours working and responding to emails.

  • So we are now over 17 and a half hours into this flight.

  • My body is starting to feel it.

  • So I figured now I am going to try to do some exercise and try and jog around to get a mile in.

  • This is what I call the real mile high club.

  • Let's see how this works.

  • And nearly 19 hours later, we're finally about to land.

  • So 19 hours and 23 minutes later, we made it to Singapore.

  • Check this out.

  • So on the Oppo Find N5, I was timing it, which you can see came out to 19 hours and 23 minutes.

  • And we still have 28% on the battery left.

  • And now for the flight itself.

  • It actually was not as bad as I was expecting.

  • I mean, being in a flying tin can for nearly 19 hours is not something I would typically choose to do.

  • But as far as flying from America to Asia, I would say it'd be doing a layover, which could take about 28 hours and just get it over and done with.

  • And I am still just shocked with how well that the Oppo Find N5 held up, since there is still 28% battery life left.

  • And we have used the phone for 21 hours and 13 minutes since the last charge.

  • That's pretty impressive.

  • Since I was using this in a pretty intensive ways, I watched four hours and two minutes of Netflix, was on Spotify for an hour.

  • We did our run on Strava.

  • I've used Lightroom.

  • I was on Instagram.

  • I was on some dating apps, even an hour and 12 minutes on Gmail.

  • The Oppo Find N5 has been a great travel companion, and we still have 28% battery left.

  • So I feel like this is a perfect opportunity to use it to go explore Singapore.

  • So a fun fact about Singapore is that the entire country is smaller than New York City, which makes it pretty easy to get around.

  • We're even being here at the airport is only about a 20-minute drive to the city center.

  • So the plan is now to call a Grab and take us to get some food.

  • So excited to not eat another airplane meal.

  • Ah, well, that is a bummer.

  • I just came all the way down here to the Chinatown Hawker Center to go to this restaurant right here, the Hawker Chan, because it is the world's cheapest Michelin star restaurant.

  • And also a restaurant that is closed on Chinese New Year.

  • So better luck next time for the world's cheapest Michelin star.

  • Luckily, there is plenty other delicious food options here.

  • So for two US dollars, I went with the Chee Cheong Fun.

  • Quite interesting looking, but I can concur.

  • It is definitely very fun and very delicious.

  • Best part about Singapore, definitely the cheap eats.

  • This is so much better after all that airplane food.

  • So about eight years ago, I had zero subscribers and came here to Singapore with big dreams and aspirations to one day become a travel vlogger.

  • And as I am back here in Singapore roaming the streets, it's just making me reflect on these past couple years and seeing how far we've taken this channel.

  • And it truly just blows my mind that this is my job.

  • And it just goes to show that if you really want something and you feel like it's your purpose, like making these videos is to me, you really can achieve more than your wildest dreams.

  • Since it's still crazy for me to believe that I'm out here for work, getting to make a video for Oppo and their new Find N5, which by the way, we have been using now for over 30 hours and still has 21% battery.

  • So Oppo, thank you guys so much for sponsoring this trip.

  • And until next week, let's get out and get busy in the next one.

Today I'm going to be flying the world's longest flight from NYC to Singapore in Singapore Airlines' business class.
