Apple has scored another small victory in its ongoing, global legal battle with Samsung.
A Tokyo district court judge ruled Tuesday that Apple's iPhone 4 and iPad-2 models did
not infringe on Samsung patents related to the secure delivery of data to communication
stations. After the ruling, Samsung said it was "disappointed"
and that it's mulling over an appeal. Apple had no immediate comment.
It's the most recent in a long line of patent trials between the two smartphone giants.
The next is slated for March 31st in the U.S. state of California.
