Bobby's father would come into his bedroom

and sit next to his bed on a small wooden stool.

Bobby's father would always ask him,

"How was your day?"

Bobby would tell his father

all the things that happened to him at school.

His father also would ask him,

"How are things in your heart?

Anything you want to talk about?"

As Bobby shared the good and the bad,

his father guided him each step of the way.

Bobby has grown up now

and is starting his own family.

He is very thankful for all the time

and advice his father gave to him.

Now he hopes to share this wisdom

with his own children.

Proverbs says,

Direct your children onto the right path,

and when they are older, they will not leave it.
