You know, a lot of those peace issues that the human soul looks for-it always comes

back to the people who've done wrong to you. Or your family. And you haven't yet had peace

yet. I want to be able to forgive them. A lot of people wait for an apology before they

even think of forgiving them. It's not about whether or not they ask for forgiveness, it's

about you letting go of your chains, those emotions that are attached to what they did

to you. If you can let it go, if you can forgive-and yes, I'm not saying just let someone abuse

you and forgive them. If you're being abused, get some help, find a counselor, be in a position

where you are safe. But I want you to know today that freedom of people doing bad to

you starts with you deciding to forgive.
