Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles A song is anything that can walk by itself. I'll let you be in my dreams if I can be in yours. There is nothing so stable as change. The radio makes hideous sounds. When you cease to exist, then who will you blame? Well, the future for me is already a thing of the past. I don't think I'm tangible to myself. The songs are my lexicon. I believe the songs. You can't do something forever. I really didn't consider myself happy or unhappy. You call yourself what you want to call yourself. You can't be happy by doing something groovy. I'm sick of giving creeps money off my soul. I never saw myself as a folk singer. Folk music is a bunch of fat people. I'm inconsistent, even to myself. I'm not a playwright. The people in my songs are all me. I think I have a dualistic nature. My range is limited. I can't stand to see myself on television. Nothing can affect my voice, it's so bad. It's hard to speculate what tomorrow may bring. I kinda live where I find myself. No one is free, even the birds are chained to the sky. It's not to easy to define poetry.
