Greetings, everyone. So, we all know that summer can do some weird stuff to the hairs
on your head, but summer is also the time where a lot of us are traveling a lot and you know,
crazy things can happen to your hair when you're not in your usual environment, add in
some humidity and "ah, ah, ah" - that's basically what happens. I'm going to share with you
guys my travel tips for you know, summer travel and hair to just make you feel better. And they're
super easy. Anybody can do them, even Nugget. Nugget has a lot of hair. Maybe I should like
tell Nugget to get it together. Anyway, let's get this started. So, first things first I
think it's really important to make sure that you're taking care of your hair before and
during your trip and that just starts with shampoo and conditioner. Here's the ones
that I've been using, the Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Shampoo and Conditioner. These are infused
with macadamia oil so they help replenish your hair without making them feel greasy and
it is awesome. It's a great way to nourish your hair, but you're not going to feel like
a freaking grease ball afterwards. Now, I prefer to travel with the shampoo and
conditioner that I'm using at home, but I also don't want to lug around the full size
bottles because they're just big and heavy. I like to put my shampoo and conditioner in
little travel containers like this, that way I know exactly how my hair is going to react
to these hair products so I'm not going to be surprised by like poofy hair or anything
and I can also just make sure that I'm taking care of my hair when I'm traveling. Now, if
you watch my other travel videos before then you probably know that I am obsessed with
packing. I really love it and I'm all about using the space to its fullest potential and
my products to their fullest potential. One thing that's great is a straightener because
you can curl your hair with this, you can straighten your hair with this and you can
iron your clothes with this. My hair is pretty fine in texture so one thing that I have to
deal with a lot is static-y hair from the dry air on the plane to maybe dry air where
I'm going and it's just annoying because your hair just kind of flies everywhere and there's
nothing that you can really do about it, unless you have these. These are dryer sheets
like the dryer sheets that you put in your dryer for your laundry. So, all you have to
do is just like wipe your head down with the dryer sheet and you may look a little funky,
but who cares because you're not going to have a static-y hair and you can be like "bam."
I'm not going to have a static-y hair so I'm going to take these dryer sheets and go crazy
with them. Can I just have a fragrance that smells like dryer sheets? I'm just going to
call it dryer sheets with a z though. I know there are times where I want to heat
style my hair because it's hot and I don't want to get all sweaty when I'm getting ready.
So, one of my personal faves to use it my hair to just enhance the texture a little bit is
this right here. It is the Toni & Guy Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray. This just creates
texture and body in your hair with a light hold for an effortless look that's not going
to feel like crunchy and stiff and just like "ooh." You can use it in dry or damp hair
and you just kind of tousle your hair together and you can also bring this in like your beach
bag and use it after you leave the beach to kind of make your hair smell a little bit
better and to hold on to that like beachy texture - this is amazing for that. When you
know you're going to be traveling thinking about what to do with your hair can be a little
bit stressful. This is one of my favorite things to do to my hair and I like to call this the
super duper mini bun. Excuse me phone, I am trying to film a video here, friends. My hair
is actually quite a bit shorter in the back so whenever I try to pull my hair up all the
way these pieces fall down regardless so it's just really easy and awesome to pull up this
front section. It's going to pull my hair out of my face and this is really the area
that I have issues with and on top of that when I lean back - this is something that I
don't know if you guys have noticed this, but sometimes when you pull your hair up and
you go to lean back on a seat like your bun or your ponytail gets in the way - this doesn't
happen with this hairstyle. It's still looks like you put in some time,
but you don't feel like you just crawled out of a rats nest either, but you also don't
feel like too done up either. So, I think it's a good balance, you can just put it up and
you're good to go. To hold my fabulous mini bun and also my devil hair that is right
here in place I like using the Tresemme Perfectly Undone Ultra Brushable Hold Hairspray. This
is great because it provides all day hold so your style is going to stay in place no
matter how long you're traveling, but it's still brushable so it's not going to feel
crispy and crunchy and you can still move it around. Well, guys those are my summer
travel hair tips. I hope this was helpful for you guys and I hope you enjoyed them and
if you have anything else that you would like to add if you have any tips leave them down
below in the comments. But you know what I really want to see - I want to see your pics if you try
out a mini bun like this so send me your photos on Twitter and Instagram so that we can be
a bodacious bunch of mini buns together. Just a mini bun army. Also if there are any videos
that you would like to see me do in the futures, leave them down below in the comments because
I'm going to be reading through and you never know, you may see one of your requests in
the future, in the very near future. Please give this video a thumbs up if you enjoyed it and
