We get a ton of emails about the waterfall French braid and people asking if they can do it on their own hair instead of having somebody do it for them, so I am going to demo the waterfall French braid on my hair. Now, granted, you can see my hair is super, super short and I have it cut A-line, so I have not a ton to work with, but I will show you how you can do it. Let's do it. So I'm just going to start by-- I have some bangs. I'm going to grab a little section of bangs, and I'm just going to start a normal braid. OK now, at the top you pick up a piece and add it in, just like a regular French braid, and at the bottom, instead of picking up a piece and adding in, you're just going to drop that piece and then you're going to pick up from behind that piece and add it in, and at the top pick up hair and add it in regular. At the bottom, drop that piece. Go right behind it, pick up, And you just keep doing that. You can see I can just kind of tug it out of the way and pick up behind it. Until you get all the way back. I'll do one more. And you, of course, can go back as far as or as little as you want. And then, you just secure that with an elastic, and there you have the waterfall French braid but done on yourself.
