And today I have CGH Number Four with me, my little freckled dreamboat. What are my favorite things about you? -My nose and my freckles. -She's got it. See, I tell her all the time. So today I'm going to show you how to do a hairstyle that's a great sporty hairstyle. I did the Frenchbacks all the time. We're calling this one waterfall into Frenchbacks, because it's a little bit added twist with a waterfall in it. You're going to love it. So we've started by parting her hair into three sections. So there's like a middle section. Will you tip your head back as far as you can? Thanks. You can see there's a middle section that runs all the way down her head, and then a right section and a left. And they're about equal amounts of hair. As best you can, get it pretty close to equal. We're going to start with this middle section. So I'm just going to let this hair loose. We're going to start right up here in the top, and we're going to pick up hair. And we're going to be doing a waterfall braid, but we're going to be dropping strands on both sides. So we're going to just start by doing a normal stitch of a braid. Now when I get to this left side-- will you hold this for me? Thank you. I'm going to drop that strand, and then pick up more hair and continue the braid. When I get to the right side, drop that strand, pick up more hair. So on each side, drop that strand, pick up more hair. And because we have it already parted, the picking up hair part is really pretty simple, because you just go in here, find your part line, and grab a little piece of hair right where that is. So again, drop hair, pick up hair, and continue this braid all the way down. Go in and pick up hair and drop it. Don't worry if it starts getting a little bit loose. That's OK, because you'll see later, we kind of go back in and tighten it all up. Whoops. There you go, babe. You can use a clip, if you're doing this on yourself, to hold the hair out of the way. Since I have extra hands, I'm going to utilize them. Pick up, drop. Thank you. Pick up. We've got one more pickup. Drop this one, and pick this up. Now, when you get to the end, just make sure you have all the hair, and then just do like a simple-- finish it off with a simple braid. But we're going to undo this at the end, so it doesn't really matter, as long as you just get it away from the head far enough to just run a big, fat elastic around it. OK, now I've gone ahead and completed this left side. It only took me about a minute and a half, two minutes. And I'll show you how to do it on this right side. So we have the stranding from the waterfall, and then we have our section that we had held by the rubber band. We're going to just let that go. I'm going to flip all these strands over, so they're kind of out of my way for the minute. And I'm going to begin a basic French braid. The only difference is that on this top side, I'm going to add in a strand from the waterfall braid as opposed to just regular hair. On this bottom side, however, right here, I am going to just scoop up hair like you normally would if you were French braiding. So again, on this top, I'm only going to add in a waterfall strand. On this bottom, I'm going to scoop up hair like I would normally do it. Add in a strand. Scoop up hair. Add in a strand on the top. And in hair on the bottom, like normal. And you're just going to work your way down until you run out of hair both on top and bottom. Add in a strand. Scoop up hair on bottom. Along the back, same thing. Add in hair. Scoop up. And you can pull those strands tight as you're adding them in, and that will flatten them out if they had come loose from before. We're almost to the bottom. Last little bit. OK, and then when we are done, I'm just going to do a couple stitches of normal braid right here. Now, there's lots of things you could do at the end. You could just combine them all and make them a ponytail. You can-- I'm going to-- I think I'm going to do this-- make them a braid. I like the way this looks. So I'm going to loosen this one up like this, and essentially make like three strands out of all of these braids, and just do one big braid down at the bottom. But certainly, just adding it into a little ponytail at the end with a ribbon would be adorable. There's lots of ways to finish that off. Would be cute. And you are done. There you go. And you have-- tip your head back and show them. Oh, not that far. [LAUGHTER] There's good. OK. And you have this really cool-- tip back just a little bit more so they can see the top. There you go. This really cool braid. What do you think? -Cool. -Cool. I think it looks really cool, too. I bet you'll love it if it's for sports and athletics. Be sure to check out "Makeup to Breakups," since I'll put a link over here. I got to be in an episode with AndreasChoice, and we discussed honesty. You guys are going to love it. We took some really good, funny stories in it. So be sure to check it out, and we will see you guys later. Bye. -Bye. -Now what if your friend was the cheater? -Ooh. I don't know that I would tell my friend's partner. But I would totally lay in to my friend. -Yes. -Like, let 'em have it. [MUSIC - CHARITY VANCE, "ICING"]
