The 25-year-old from South London is the latest magician to land his very own TV show, and

not only is he talented, but he's probably the best looking magician on the planet.

I've never met a magician before, so I'm really excited about this.

This is the first time we've met today, right?

Yes, it is.

It's not possible that I could know anything about you.

Like anything like super personal.

I'm going to try a little card effect on you, okay?

-All the cards are different, right? -Yeah.

-That's quite a fancy way of showing the cards. -Yeah, that was quite impressive.

-That alone's fine. -So that's it? Okay.

And what I want you to do for me is just pick a bunch of cards, okay? So you say stop whenever

you want at any point in the deck.

-Stop. -Right here. Okay.

I just want you to take about four to five cards. Actually take four cards.

Now just looking at these cards, do they mean anything to you?

Um, no. I don't know anything.

If I did this, does that mean anything to you?

If I just did that and covered the one?

Oh my God. That's my... That is my card number, my pin.

So maybe we should not say this outloud. We might have to...

No way. You're joking. How did you do that?

-You can actually steal my money if you wanted to. -I could, but I'm not.

Lucky for me. Troy didn't access my bank account and steal my last remaining tenner. Ah phew.

-You are a very talented man. -Thank you very much.

I've got to ask you. When did you know you had a special talent?

Um well... I got into magic when I was around 12 years old, and you know like any kid getting

into magic, you try different things and you practice on your friends and your family.

And I was getting really good reactions. I joined a magic club called the Young Magicians

Club, and when I was 15, I did a competition called the Young Close Up Magician of the

Year, and I won that. And I think from there, I thought I had something.

Troy's been hailed as the new Dynamo, something he's very pleased about.

You know, he's done great things for magic, and he's certainly opened the door for me

to sort of come through and show what I've got as well. But yeah, it's definitely a compliment.

Now, Troy's been practising magic for years, but all his luck changed during one fateful

night at a restaurant. Dramatic, we know.

While performing at a restaurant. I used to do a residency. The restaurant's closed down

now, but I did a little two hour gig there. Just parties around the tables. There was

this guy. He's just like this, watching me, and I sort of clocked him. He wasn't watching

me like everyone else. He was just like... And he asked for my business card, he sent

me an email the next day and he says: Hi, my name's Danny Fenton. I'm the CEO of ZigZag

Productions. I saw your performance at the restaurant. I thought you were really good,

and I don't know if you've done TV before, but I think you'd be great. And it started

from there really, and that was over two years ago.

-Wow. -So yeah.

-Best email you've ever got. -I know. I was just like whaaaaat?

And of course there are plenty of benefits when you're a magician.

I use it definitely to get discounts, if I'm going into shops. I'll just walk in.

If I see something that's a bit pricey, and I'm like uhhh...

Get a salesperson over, and I'm like... would you be able to give me a discount if I showed

you something really amazing?

What about the ladies? I can imagine you're very popular with the ladies. I can imagine

as well as being very charming, you can impress them with your magic. Have you ever used it

to get a girl's phone number?

I have once or twice, but I always like to leave the magic as the last thing I sort of

reveal to them, so I like girls to get to know me for me and not for the magic. I like

the magic to be a surprise. But if all else fails and they're like ugh, Troy's... Not

really feeling Troy. I'll be like, okay wait. There's something else. I can do magic.

And he's certainly worked his magic on me.

-I want you to say stop. -Stop.

-Right here? Are you sure? -Yeah.

Have a look at that card for me. I'm going to look at it as well. 8 of Hearts.

-Now say stop whenever you want. -Stop.

cards, okay?

There we go. 8 of Hearts. We've got the name on it. If you'll sign the King of Spades for

me, and we'll leave the 8 sticking out. King of Spades, 8 of Hearts. It's like they're

kissing now. They're face to face, but what I'm going to do. I'm going to put them back

to back, okay? 8 of Hearts. Kind of Spades. I want you to put your hand out for me. I'm

going to put them in your hand, but if you put your other hand on top like a sandwich.

Yeah. Squeeze it tight. I'm going to help you out as well.

-You're really strong. -Thank you.

Lift up your hands.

Now you squeezed them to a point where it's actually merged into one card.

Shut up. No, that's stuck together.

-That's one card. -No they're stuck together!

If you tear it... Look, I can tear it for you. That's one card, right?

What? That's ridiculous.
